Breakfast was pretty much empty too early. No biscuit and gravy was on the menu. No kid friendly breakfast options either. My husband was disappointed and the room was much more than we expected when we arrived.

Check in was pleasant (at least). Room was decent-No issues. Then things started to go bad. The business office only offered one PC, and that PC was running a bootleg copy of windows. Even more, the MS Office suite was never set up correctly. After completing a small job I asked my business partner why the mall (which the Hotel was adjoined to), seemed to be shut down. He explained that over the years the Gangs and Drugs have basically taken over the town, and most reputable businesses have shut down and moved away (along with most of the prominent townsfolk). After driving around town, it became clear he was not joking. Many, many businesses are closed, nothing decent to dine in, or shop at. I witnessed many police cars trolling about. I was advised by by associate, that if I where to stay, park under the front canopy, dont answer the door under ANY circumstances. Needless to say, after completing my visit, I returned back to my room, gathered my things, and drove 8 Hrs back home. THIS IS NOT THE HOTEL (or town for that matter) to stay. I always carry my sidearm when I travel, but this was ridiculous.

I had to go to the pine bluff area for my mothers funeral on Christmas Day. I called ahead and booked a suite. I told them we had two small dogs as it was Christmas and we couldn't board them, they have a small dog policy with deposit and we requested a first floor suite. We showed up to check in and they showed us to a THIRD floor suite which wasn't actually a suite because the sofa had been removed. We went in and the room had used syringes in it. We requested another room and were told that they had no more suites. Suspect as there were a total of three cars in the lot. He finally after much ado came up with a standard room on the first floor. It smelled and wasn't so clean but we had no choice. The breakfast was the only good thing about the stay and the employee that was serving it was chipper and helpful. The others acted as if we were bothering them. They were never behind the desk but in the lounge and had to be asked to come to the desk. Horrible DO NOT STAY HERE IT STINKS literally !

Usually very impressed with Holiday Inn Express, but this one is lacking. Room was dusty and floor was not vacuumed. Could see spots on surface of sink area showing that it was not cleaned properly. I wouldn't blame it on the hotel, being that it was my first visit...hopefully just need to supervise housekeeping better. Coffee area in room did not have cups...but the WiFi seems to be great.

It seems you are punished for having status with IHG and making reservations I made my reservation around 10am. My coworker did not make one and just walked inn. My coworker and I showed up around 3:00PM to check in i was put on the 3rd floor. "In my IHG preferences I have ground floor or near elevator." Since I was put one 3rd floor I asked if they had any room on the 1st they said no. My coworker checked in just after me and got the 1st floor same room type I had. I was dumbfounded when I got to the 3rd floor and my room was the furthest from the elevator. I am not sure I will be staying at this location again.

I enjoyed this hotel. The high point in the location is that it is on a campus that contains a mall and some restaurants. A grocery store is very close by. A little smaller than average exercise room. Average continental breakfast.

Staff was very inviting! Good breakfast. Southern hospitality in a small town. Stayed two nights. Used pool which was operating fine. The exercise facility was more than adequate. The location was close to the mall within walking distance, and several places to eat. Good for business or leisure. Very welcoming staff.

The hotel was nice. Our room was clean. Workout center had multiple cardio machines, free weights, and stability ball. Breakfast was typical HI style. One issue that was irritating was the cleaning carts lined up in hallways throughout the day making it like an obstacle course to get through to your room. Doors to storage rooms and laundry room were open and clearly visible also. The hotel's location is in a mall parking lot with multiple entry/exit routes.

We stopped here on the way home. We got a king non smoking room. It was clean, comfortable, and the bed was amazing. This was night 14 traveling. We had stayed with family and in a few hotels. Everyone of the hotels we stayed at were very good, but this was the most comfortable, clean, and restful sleeps we got on this vacation.

Pine Bluff is a mill town, meaning the whole town has a sickening, wretched odor due to the air pollution. The pollution source is visible from the front door of this property. Room and breakfast were good (evening front desk staff and breakfast host were both friendly and helpful). But I stayed here for the pool, but could not enjoy it, due to: 1) the mill smell, 2) swarms of mosquitoes, 3) numerous water bugs the size of watermelon seeds that swim straight at you and try to climb up onto you, 4) four separate adults, including some parents of young swimmers, were smoking cigarettes in the pool area, 5) very cloudy and green water. Front desk apologized for the smokers, saying he wished he had known, but obviously I couldn't have put a stop to it myself without it causing an awkward situation (Imagine: everyone there but us is smoking, so I pad off to the lobby, then come back with a manager, who tells everyone to stop smoking. Yeah.)
