The Morrison Hotel is perfectly located, at a footbridge just across the river from Temple Bar. Close to all but quieter. The interior is modern and beautifully adorned. Our room was spacious and the bath was large with both a tub and shower, as well as the typical well designed storage and technology features we’ve come to expect from Curio Collection hotels. The best surprise was the restaurant. We arrived later than expected and were hungry. We chose to try it based on a few reviews we read. The food and service was very good, and we are foodies.
One little hiccup during checkin occurred but was fixed. We had paid for a river view room on Expedia’s site, but the checkin desk didn’t have that. After searching, the clerk found a river view room for us. So, please be sure amenities you expect are listed on your reservation confirmation to avoid any issues. I actually called Expedia just after booking because it wasn’t shown and was assured it was in “the hotel notes”. We would definitely stay at The Morrison again.
