Great family house

Katie was so generous and communicative before and during our stay with information. It was a great location for the beach, shops, and a pleasant neighborhood to walk. With a preschooler and two babies, we really appreciated all of the baby gear in the house—it made things so easy. We were also impressed with the quantity and high quality of all kitchen implements. Overall, a lovely house with a great pool. We loved it!

Family Time : )

Everyone in our group agreed the place was exceptional, and our host, Katie, thought of everything a renter may need. She has set the standard for all of our future rentals! We had room to enjoy family time together, but could go to our very large rooms for some down time. Six small children were in our group so we appreciated the pool alarms, golf cart, and beach chair set up to make everything easier. Most of our time was spent at the house because it was perfect! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Family Getaway

Wonderful location to the beach either a short walk or short drive on the golf cart. Pool was clean and plenty of places to sit and enjoy family. Place was immaculate both inside and out. Katie was great about sharing information or answering questions. Highly recommend!!

Spectacular Sand Dollar

Our stay was perfect! Home worked well for us and having the cottage for the grandparents was an added perk!Close to the beach and having a golf cart provided was an added plus! Thank you to our host who communicated " just enough" and resolved some little issues quickly without a fuss.

Family Get Together

Great property for family getaways! Accommodations were excellent and fit with desired activities in Destin! Having the Low-Speed Vehicle (golf cart) was key to flexibility to and from the beach with 4 chairs and umbrellas every day of our stay! Quality of amenities were first class. What a Great Vacation!

We stayed at Sand Dollar for 10 days in April 2025, 10 adults and 3 toddlers. Katie has a spacious, beautiful home that had everything we needed. Check in was easy and Katie was always available if we had any questions. The house was spotless and really well maintained. We first noticed how much open space there was on the first floor, perfect for meals, games, and just hanging out and having fun. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the appliances and utensils you could possibly need. The furniture was all high quality and the beds were so comfortable. And the three primary bedrooms are huge! The guest cottage provided a nice respite for those who needed a bit of space from the toddlers ;) The pool was perfect for everyone, though we did pay a bit extra to have it heated since the weather hadn't really warmed up yet. It was well worth it. It was fun to have the golf cart for quick trips to the beach, but the walk to the beach was also very quick, and the neighborhood is very nice. And the beach chair and umbrella setup was wonderful, the attendant was very helpful and friendly. It is obvious that Katie knows what guests want and need, there were so many nice touches that we really appreciated, including twelve (12!) beach towels, extra beach chairs and umbrellas, pool service every few days, even extra trash pickup. Thanks for a great vacation!

Perfect Girl’s Trip

The home was absolutely stunning! So close to the beach, super clean, comfortable beds, and a quick golf cart ride or Uber ride to entertainment. It was the perfect place for a long weekend away!

Fun in the sun

We had a great time during our stay! All the shops and store was close by and the beach was a few minutes walk down the street. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe the whole time there. The house was amazing and very when we got there. The owner and the rest of the team was very prompt in responding to any questions or concerns before and during our stay there. Definitely recommend this place for your next vacation

The home is magazine perfection . All of the high end touches are unlike anything I have seen in a VRBO including ones at a higher price point . Amazing Family Vacation

From the moment we booked we were in touch with the property manager. Communication was great. The home exceeded our expectations and was perfect for our multi family vacation. We would definitely book this property again. The pool and outside area were great. Very quiet neighborhood. We rented a golf cart and used that for commutes to the beach, but it’s an easy walk.

Impromptu vacation

It’s difficult these days to find time where our schedules align with our adult children! We scheduled this VRBO on a Friday & arrived Saturday! The check in was super simple. Check out very easy too! The location & house were perfect! We had everything we needed! There was no detail our host didn’t think of! The private pool was amazing & the short walk to the beach made beach days a breeze! The house was big enough for everyone to have their own space to retreat to. Lovely home

We had a great experience at Sand Dollar. Little things made a big difference…pool towels provided, well equipped kitchen for cooking and storing (like Tupperware and chip clips), blankets for chilly evenings, hand soap in bathrooms, games/movies, pool basketball game that my boys loved, beach set up for 4 right in front! We would definitely recommend this house and would rent here again. Katie responded quickly to questions and was very helpful and friendly. Thank you!

Great Vacation

We were a group of 14 family members from around the country all gathering together for what was one of the best vacations we have ever enjoyed. This property easily accommodated all of us very comfortably. The location was close to the beach, shopping and restaurants yet provided a quiet neighborhood feeling. The home was beautiful and very clean when we arrived. The kids loved the outdoor pool with all the extra floats and pool games. It was a treat to have the beach chairs and umbrellas waiting for us every day. We would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous House and Host

We loved our week at this property. If you have children this is the house for you. Katie provides everything and more you will need for babies/children including beach/pool toys. Kitchen is amazingly stocked and there are special touches throughout to make it feel like home. Beds are very comfortable. Beach chair set up and bikes are provided and the location to the beach is a short walk. Katie is by far the best host I have experienced. Just because I like to know what to bring, the only thing not provided is shower wash/shampoo. This house will not disappoint.

Amazing!

We stayed with 10 adults, 2 kids, 3 toddlers. Everything you could want is there! The kitchen is completely stocked with a starter of paper towels and toilet paper. The pool is big and clean. The beach sets ups are the best amenity and made our trip so much better. The ice maker also was a great convenience! Our stay could not have been better!
