We only spent the night here. We got back to the room late and the air conditioner was not working. We didn't want to change rooms or have someone come look at it that late, so we didn't report it. It would be nice if these things were checked before renting the room. other than that, everything else was fine.

Do not leave anything of value in your room.

Approximately an hour after checking out I contacted the hotel that I left my toiletries bag with my jewelry, makeup and perfume on the bathroom counter along with a tip for the housekeeper. I was informed by the desk clerk the room had already been cleaned by housekeeping and the housekeeper did not see it. I inquired about the tip I left the housekeeper on the bathroom counter but the clerk was not aware. I was assured that the manager would contact me, but after multiple follow up calls, I received no response. Upon contacting the hotel again I was told the manager was unavailable and there was nothing further they could do. While this hotel is conveniently located close to I 35 and offers affordable rates, I advise guest be aware that your items that are not trackable are left at your own risk. If I had left my laptop or any other trackable item, it probably would had been turned in. Definitely my responsibility to check the room prior to checking out but honesty, integrity, and customer service are just a few important factors to consider when booking a hotel.

Front desk lady was super nice and knowledgeable. I didn’t use the amenities or eat the complimentary breakfast. I really appreciate the cleanliness (top priority) and nice parking area and grounds. Could certainly use better lighting in the bathrooms. It was very dim, even with the lighted mirror. Bed was super comfy and I liked the room set up with the desk and the pretty sofa. The AC worked like a charm. Bathroom was stocked with nice clean towels. I’m not sure there’s a remedy, but the walls between the rooms are definitely “thin.” On my second night, had a young family next door with a baby that cried like babies do and someone down the hall was yelling.a lot in Spanish. May have been watching sports. There was a lot of activity in the hallway. Loud talkers and doors slamming. Things finally got quiet around 10:30. Then at 3:00 am the fire alarm blasted—it didn’t last more than a minute. I couldn’t go back to sleep and the family with the baby were awake next door as well for well over an hour.
