Brand new oceanfront home with amazing views!

New oceanfront vacation home, finished January 2018! Unbeatable, MULTIPLE oceanfront views. Watch surfers, migrating whales spouting, ocean kayakers and boats sailing by as you relax on your front porch or inside from your choice of premiere ocean views. This upscale home is located near stairs that lead you to mile of sandy ocean beaches. You can walk along the beach collecting agates, fly a kite or just relax while listening to the waves crash on the beach, a place to build your memories. Please be sure to bring your camera to capture the magnificent sunrises and sunsets that await you!
2 CA King bedrooms, one Queen and two Twins. For an additional fee of $55 per night, you can add the detached cottage (adults only). The cottage has ocean views, a seperate entrance, t.b., queen bed, small dining room table and china hutch. The restroom is in the main house.
There is a 2 night minimum but weekly and monthly rates are available.
We have a strict 8 person maximum in the main house and 2 people in the cottage.
Enjoy the private enclosed back courtyard to relax, BBQ or play games.
In the main house, downstairs, you will find a King suite with cable t.v., private bathroom, walk-in closet and nautical round window with ocean view. The living room has cable t.v., two large, panoramic oceanfront view windows and lovely new furnishings.
The dining area has a large hickory table the seats up to 10.
The kitchen has new stainless dishwasher, double oven, microwave and refrigerator. There is also 2 stool counter seating.
There is a 2nd full bathroom downstairs with shower and a laundry room with full size washer/dryer.
Upstairs you will find 3 additional bedrooms. The first has a CA King bed, dresser, t.v. and private office/library with wireless internet. The library is well stocked with books for your reading pleasure. There is also a small window with ocean view. The 2nd bedroom has a Queen bed and two spectacular ocean views. One round nautical window faces Castle Rock; a seabird nesting rookery that boasts over forty species of birds and mammals. Aleutian geese can be seen landing and you can often hear the sea lions and Elephant Seals from the rock. The other window has a great ocean view overlooking the beach below. The 3rd upstairs bedroom has two twin beds, large mirrored closet and 2 windows with amazing ocean views.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 3 bathrooms, and a patio, and there's space to spread out with 4 bedrooms. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a coffee maker, and a phone.

Beautiful, very clean home

Very clean. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware. The view out the front of the house is beautiful. Nearby tide pools to explore. We totally enjoyed our time there.

Great view of ocean

Located right across from Pacific Ocean. Plenty of furniture, comfortable beds. Safe neighborhood. Would stay again. If you have little ones, just keep in mind that the road is a little busy.

Beautiful property

Beautiful property, easy beach access, almost directly across the street. Kitchen fully stocked as far as pans and accessories. Only suggestion is better mattresses. Responses from property manager, hit and miss. Propane ran out shortly after starting to cook, but after calling, we had new tanks within 15 minutes. Other questions, not so fast or not at all. However, we would recommend it for sure.

My family and I really loved our stay here. The home has absolutely everything you need. It has special touches throughout. Enough space for a family of 7. Directly across from the ocean so you can walk across anytime. Wonderful location! Highly recommend!

Magical vacation spot

The house and its location are the perfect combination for what is truly a magical experience. The house has everything you might need and more. The views and location are amazing, I hate to leave. I could sit on the porch all day and just enjoy everything there is to see

Too many issues with a view

The good: • Beautiful ocean view • Newer home with plenty of room • Kitchen well stocked The not so good experience/feedback for owners: • Rental listing, inaccurately, has Air Conditioning as a listed Amenities, which is an amenity that is top 3 on my list for summer rentals, regardless of location. Due to warm condition of upstairs at check-in, morning after check-in I asked the property manager about AC, who said that was a mistake and did not have AC and would update listing, which doesn’t satisfy my issue. And almost week later, listing is still not updated. • Front two ground level window blinds facing the busy street don’t close all the way and leave a gap of ~6-8”, which compromise privacy at night. Informed property manager and sent picture morning after check-in and she stated that she would get handyman to look at it. I guess she didn’t mean during our stay, didn’t hear back. • Cleanliness, couch cushion soiled/damp with something giving off bad odor, sand residue in foot of sheets downstairs bed, floor not mopped (bare feet dirty after walking on floors), air intake needs a filter change, fans in bathrooms need cleaned. • Other small things that could make rental better if improved, only charcoal grill (not sure why no propane grill – chain it up if needed), water not hooked up to refrigerator ice machine. And agree with previous reviewer who stated downstairs bathroom shower is too slippery.

Wonderful home, perfect location

We visited Crescent City as a home base for discovering the beautiful Redwoods in the area. This home was absolutely perfect! It was clean, well kept, and very comfortable for our group of 6. With ample beds and bathrooms it was very easy for everyone to claim their own space. The large table was great for gathering and we loved having the ocean right across the street. The only improvement I could suggest would be to add some comfy seating on the front porch.

Killer place

We rented the front and back house on a road trip to Seattle. The house was as advertised - clean, large rooms, and right on the beach. The views off the deck are incredible - we visited a lighthouse (do the tour) and went to the Trees of Mystery (worth the money if you have kids). Would definitely stay there again.

Happy Returning Customer

This is the second time we came here. Like the first time which was couple of years ago we enjoyed very much. The house is perfect for a family with 4 sleeping rooms and place for all of us to enjoy the views of the ocean. All very clean and comfortable. The location is great for us just in-front of the beach and short driving to tons of trails and hikes in the redwood around. Would definitely recommend.

The house was clean and beautiful. Great location. We did have a problem with the heater which wasn't working when we arrived and which resulted in a chilly first night. But the property manager was responsive to the problem and sent someone to fix it the next morning.
