- Pet Rules:
We are glad to host your pets too (as in dogs 🐶). Anything beyond that — lizards, ferrets, emotional support peacocks — needs a little pre-approval, just so we’re all on the same page. Regardless of how well trained the pet is, we have found pets do crazy things at unfamiliar locations. I really do not want to charge for cleaning carpets or floor rugs. It’s a pain, so please READ carefully! Thank you!

We ask for compliance in a few house rules:

🛋️ No pets on the furniture — no matter how much they side-eye ya.

🚪 No pets in the bedrooms. We just replaced carpets and are trying to keep things fresh and fur-free.

🛏️ Bring their own bedding if possible to prevent marking or nervous accidents. Trust us, they do happen! If you don’t have any, let me know — I’ve got extra pet blankets you can use.

🚿 No pet baths in the tub. That spa day is for humans only.

🚧 Please keep them on wood flooring, use the baby gates provided or close bedroom doors to ensure compliance.

🚫 No unkenneled solo pet parties — please don’t leave your pet unattended unless properly crated.

🐶 Need pet care while you`re out? We’ve got a Rover sitter on standby — just say the word.

💩 Please scoop the poop. It’s basic trail etiquette and good humaning.

There is a $40 per week per pet fee for dogs (capped at $120 per month), Any other pets will be considered on a case by case basis- please inquire. If you already paid it through your reservation, great! If not, please reach out and we can discuss the various channels depending on how you booked that we can use.

The property was clean and the owners were very responsive. They fixed an issue promptly and were so nice to work with. The couch and chairs are not very comfortable otherwise no issues to share.

This was a great place to stay while touring OSU. If you're in town and would like to have seperate rooms and a nice quiet spot to call home for a few day, this is the place. The grocery store is also close by and there's a small parking spot out front, so you don't have to look for street parking. Small is a key description though. Our Small SUV was just right.

This is a wonderfully detailed cottage in a small, quiet neighborhood. It’s located within walking distance of a grocery, restaurant and small shopping area. The house itself has fun features, well appointed rooms and stocked kitchen. Fun place to spend the weekend.

Stay in Corvallis

Yes.except for the ant problem which I am sure you're aware and the sofa being somewhat uncomfortable due to the spring being sprung. The kitchen rug was sent to the laundry room due to it's condition.

The home was clean and visually appealing however, the springs in the vintage sofa was felt when sitting making it difficult to be comfortable. The tiny 2 person table was suitable for 2 people however, the plastic dining chairs were cracked where the legs attached to the seat making them a hazard to sit on. The 2 king beds downstairs were very comfortable. We didn’t use the bedroom upstairs.

Cute house

Good base camp to explore Oregon State University and Corvallis in general. The house was freshly painted and the bedrooms had comfortable mattresses with big fluffy pillows. As a family of four, I wished I had noticed that there was only a two person dining table, which made having family meals together difficult.

Clean, comfy beds, nice bathroom

An older home that's been partially redone. The two bedrooms downstairs (where we stayed) and the bathroom are very nice. Check in was easy and the location of this house is great. As other reviewers mentioned, there is only a small table for dining. I had to park on the street, around the corner, because my car was too big for the two driveways that are available. I was glad to get instructions to do this so I could avoid a ticket.

The house is very clean and the fenced backyard is a great perk for pet owners. However, there are some maintenance issues worth knowing about — including a hole in a door covered with tape and a couch with broken springs that makes it uncomfortable to sit on.The bigger concern I'd flag for prospective renters is the host. When I realized I had booked for the wrong number of guests, I reached out immediately and asked to cancel rather than pay an upcharge. The host responded by threatening a cancellation fee. VRBO ultimately sided with me and issued a credit, but it was a stressful and time-consuming process. The listing does have a lengthy list of rules, and the experience with the host left our group uneasy about simply enjoying the space during our stay. After many rentals over the years, this was my first genuinely difficult experience with an owner. I'd encourage others to read the fine print carefully and go in with eyes open.

Good not Great

My husband and I came to Corvallis from Chicago over Thanksgiving to visit with our OSU student. The house is nice however there wasn't a lot of kitchen utensils and poorly equipped to cook a full dinner. Plus there isn't a dining room table available to eat at. The downstairs bedrooms basically sit on the neighbors driveway, this is problematic since the neighbor has some type of third shift. They loudly come and go in the middle of the night- each time startling us awake.
