Pam who checked us in was delightful; suggested a Mexican Restaurant for dinner which was outstanding. We met Vi the next morning for the breakfast; she too was very friendly, but wasn't feeling well that day. Great place to stay before going to visit Mesa Verde ruins

They had corned beef hash for breakfast which was a nice change.

The only problem was the refrigerator/freezer did not work. We had food that needed to go in it so some of it spoiled. Thankfully not all of it had to be thrown away.

The lobby is shared with a long stay Motel and the actual hotel is a long walk around the back of that and the rooms are underground no elevator. Hallways were dark but it was a room and bed if that’s all you need

This is a combined hotel with Surburban Studios. Check in and breakfast are in the same building with the Quality Inn rooms in the building further back. Our room had obviously been redone fairly recently. It seemed pretty clean although I did find a beetle on our floor. Our room was on the bottom floor and partly underground so our window looked out to see grass and a fence. It’s on the main drag and we found a good steakhouse just a few blocks away. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. AC worked well. Wifi was good. Good water pressure and hot water in th shower. Breakfast included sausage links, premade omelettes, hash browns, make your own waffles, bagels, hard boiled eggs, and yogurt. The buildings were pretty worn, but it was a decent stay. No issues.

It’s a decent option for an overnight stay. Clean, reasonably quiet, etc. However, the rooms, and especially the bathrooms, are too small for more than a couple people. Even just a couple people staying more than a couple nights could be a bit much. That said, it’s an economical option in a convenient location with good staff and decent breakfast.
