When checking in the front desk employee was rude. After getting to our room it had mold in the bathroom on the ceiling. We heard slamming doors all night.

The room was clean but worn. The hallways were really worn and not well lit. Sometimes the back exterior door would not lock. The breakfast room was bleak and the tv didn't work. The staff didn't step in when one couple on our floor had a screaming fight that lasted until 3 a.m. At least 5 different guests reported the problem, but nothing was done. Not a good night.

Room was not clean. Counters had old stains from previous guest. Sheets had stains. Floors were dirty. Very dim lighting. Smelled very old and unclean. I did not get a chance to take pictures. I got in looked around and left. I still got charged for leaving.

It was a horrible experience. The room was not completely cleaned. The bathroom (tub, toilet, sink was still dirty. There was trash left in the corner of the bedroom. There were shady people wandering around vehicles smoking weed and being loud, they kept walking towards the back of the motel into a trailer park. I tried to call the front desk to let him know of my findings in the room and how I felt uncomfortable of the people, but the phone was not working, so I went to the front desk, and all he told me was that he couldn’t do anything about it because I was in the room for an hour, which was untrue. we were there for about 15 minutes the most. When I was explaining this to him, he didn’t acknowledge my concern. He rolled his eyes and played on his cellphone. My daughter and I just cleaned up after the maid and made the most of it.

Always like this hotel. The place has a VERY “homey” vibe. There is a great burger joint down the street called Burger Boy and within walking distance of the hotel *highly recommended*
