Staff was very courteous and helped me with the reservation even after Expedia’s reservation was not in their system. If not for her help, I wouldn’t have had a room for the night. Not sure if Holiday Inn Express dropped the ball or if it was Expedia’s issue.

Property definitely needs some maintenance and modernization. Restroom ceiling look terrible from previous leaks, wallpaper was hanging above shower and furniture was and looked very old. Some door card readers didn't work as well...

Close to Mesa Verde

Not the Holiday Inn hotels I'm used to. The parking lot was very dark and the interior was dated. We only stayed one night for the close proximity to Mesa Verde NP.

The bed was extremely comfortable! Front desk staff was wonderful and breakfast was standard. Otherwise the hotel is quite in need of renovations. There are signs all over the hotel saying that they are undergoing renovations. We saw no sign of that happening yet, but it’s possible that they will be doing so in the near future? Microwave in room didn’t work and remote didn’t work for tv to turn on and off but we figured it out with buttons on side of tv.

The staff was great! We had booked one night through Cheap Tickets and needed to add on another night, but there were no rooms available on CT. So I called and the girl at that desk was able to do a separate reservation and made sure the rest of the staff new we had two different reservations but were the same ppl. The room was very clean and it looks like they tried to do a renovation as the counter and shower stall had granite, but the tile floor was old and out dated. Also - there must have been flooding from the room above because the ceiling looked like it had lots of water damage - dry wall needs redone. The AC worked great and the room was very clean. It was really noisy at night. You could hear all steps of the people above us. The breakfast was EXCELLENT. There were all kinds of options. Great protein choices. One day it was scrambled eggs and sausage links. The next day was cheese omelets and bacon. Of course there were also other options like cereal, oatmeal, bagels, pancakes, etc. Overall, I would stay here again.
