Upon arrival I was upgraded to a better room which was great. Then I started to experience what I feel is a nickel and dime charges. No free coffee in the lobby for guests in the AM. Starbucks at the bar for $4.50 a cup. $12.00 a night for parking in a huge lot. I can understand a fee in a hotel that has limited parking in an urban setting but not this one. When I got home I noticed a fee for $6.25 for catering

There’s no microwave in the room. Hot tub was cold and has no jets. Bed was pretty uncomfortable, especially the pillows. Bathroom was very small. I paid a good amount for a staycation with my husband and I wasn’t very impressed.

Absolutely beautiful view of Pikes Peak from our room. Overall the hotel looks nice and is clean. We had a problem with our door lock and the staff were extremely apologetic while fixing it and offered us complimentary drinks. These things happen and we don't hold it against them, especially considering how nice they were about it. There are a few things we do hold against them though. On the first night we discovered a rather prominent blood stain on the duvet. They replaced it, but it shouldn't have been there in the first place. The bed was also quite uncomfortable: the mattress was very firm and the pillows were practically rocks. You also had to pay for parking which just felt like being nickel and dimed considering the hotel's location outside town. On the whole though we were quite happy with our stay (that view is just unbelievable) and would stay here again if we revisit Colorado Springs.

The lobby and rooms were clean and spacious. The setting is gorgeous. I wish it was warm enough to enjoin my their outdoor sitting spaces, the view on the west side is lovely.

The hotel was nice, the breakfast was great and the staff was awesome. I would recommend that you advertise the parking fee with the hotel because it was an added expense that was not planned for. Most of the hotels that do charge for parking advertise it on the description so you have a choice. The fact the parking lot is huge and they charge an additional $12 a day to park is ridiculous.

I told the front desk that my husband was on crutches and would like a closer room. We were put on the END of the far hall. The parkinglot was severely icy and dangerous. The comfortors were thin like sheets.

Hotel stay overall was good. Room was too small for two queen beds. I could hear too noise through the walls and outside of my room. Restaurant food too pricey. All the food is frozen nothing fresh.
