From the outside, an old roadside motel. On the inside a warm and comfortable environment. My room had a very comfortable overstuffed loveseat and really wonderful bed with a quilt that was homemade. The room was updated and well-cared for. You'll enjoy a good night's rest here.

Staff seemed nice. The bathroom was clean and the room was generally clean. But just didn’t feel clean. The sheets felt very used. Could hear music and tv blaring all night and morning from the room above. I know it’s not the property’s fault but the surrounding area has an industrial cow farm. And when I arrived the smell of manure was so strong I didn’t even want to go get something from my car. The door gap was also pretty wide so the smell seeped into the room. By morning it subsided. Nice staff and generally clean rooms. But I would pass on here and the area in general.

Want a refund. Shower smelled of sewer.

The usual night in a king bed next to super loud window air conditioner, terrible tv "free" channels. Shower stank like open sewer. Poor lighting. Early cut off for free country breakfast at 9..breakfast room was cold and country food =hamburger mixed with eggs...no chance for plain scramble. No elevator. Pool promised (90* day) but had no water. They did give free cookie and snack bag.Free used washrag to take home! I slept very poorly. I want a refund.

I was not impressed with the staff letting a group party in front of my room around their truck until midnight. They were loud and I called the office once, but it didn't seem to change the partying.

Check in went smoothly. Room and bed were very good. Breakfast bar was one of the best of all the different place we stayed at on our travels. Disappointments, swimming pool was empty. Also, there was a car in the parking lot up on jack stands. Didn't give a very good impression when you entered the location.

Wasn’t sure what to expect “kind of in the middle of the state”, but this was the cutest place. Decorated with antiques and plants everywhere! Very clean, friendly staff and nice hot, homemade breakfast. Check in & check out were easy and quick. We would definitely stay when/if back in the area!!

The property was beautiful and well maintained. The room was charming with a quilt on the bed. I was impressed with the cleanliness. I would have given it 5 stars but there was nothing for breakfast at 7 a.m. when we checked out.

Might be ok if you have the right room

I booked a room for my sister & Husband and one for myself and husband. They had a room that had obviously been upgraded recently and they had no issues with their room. Our room had very dirty carpet with multiple stains. The bed was definitely NOT good for bad backs. I don't know what kind of mattress/topper it had, but you could see a "wavy" motion when pushed on, almost like my old waterbed! The bathroom area was dated with minimal room at the sink. The check in was super easy and the clerk friendly and helpful. As a side note...we do NOT recommend the Oakley Country Club for a meal. All of our meals had problems from cold steak to burnt chicken fried steak.

The motel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was adequate, clean, and tastefully decorated in an old country charm style. The bed was firmer than comfortable. The bathroom was tight quarters, but adequate and clean. We did not take advantage of the breakfast, so I cannot comment on that. Like other reviews have stated, there is very little in the area as far as restaurants, but there is a pub & grill nearby.
