This hotel should not even be an option to book on Expedia. I am so disappointed! I expect more from a well known booking site. It is a 2 star hotel at best. It looks like an abandoned hotel. No sign out front or anywhere for that matter. The front window of the buiding is shattered. The pool and public restrooms were "out of order". The pictures are so deceiving. It is old and musty. The room itself was clean but the shower curtain was a bit dirty. The man at the front desk, which I presume was the owner was nice. I really wanted to just walk away but it was late and I had missed the window of cancelation so I took my chances and stayed in this scetchy ran down place. Note to self..don't trust Expedia..go to Google for reviews before booking!

where to start? drove past the property several times due to lack of signage. property looks abandoned. the only ice machine on the property did not work. the indoor pool was closed. the lobby restrooms were closed. the smoke alarm in our room was dismantled. that’s alarming! the room was clean “enough.”.toilet bowl needed a quick cleaning. “rain shower” fixture from 20 years ago was caked in lime deposits. the outside security door lock not functioning. it’s an old property that the owners are trying to improve but it’s just “putting lipstick on a pig.”. would not stay here again. Ever.

No signage of the hotel. I was very late getting in and had to wait awhile for anyone to check me in. The hotel room was in very poor quality at my time of stay. The room had carpet issues. It was hid with a trash can placed over it. Unfortunately I felt very uncomfortable staying at this hotel.

It was the most quiet hotel room I have ever stayed in. Although only 1 block away from the interstate, I never heard any traffic noise. The floor mounted heat pump was also the quietest. It rarely ran, even though the temps were in the 20s. I attribute that to excellent insulation, which probably explains the quiet rooms. Although an older hotel, it was probably a higher level hotel due to the quality of the room fixtures. It is currently being remodeled but was still very comfortable despite the remodeling.

Conti was especially kind and helpful. The hotel desperately needs lights and signage outside. A complete landscaping refresh. First look, the appearance of the building was “sketchy”. The lobby is dark, uninviting. The room was clean, A/C worked, clean linens. We would absolutely stay there again.

This property was in poor repair and is being remodeled. The exterior makes the property appear closed down. They have a long way to go to make it appear as an appealing property. The staff made me feel comfortable. The room was nice. The bed was too soft (I am guessing a little worn out) and there was only one plugin to charge my electronics. I turned off the air conditioner as it cooled off in the evening and it kept running. I finally had to unplug it to shut it off.

Very happy with my stay.

Honestly a great stay. I’m traveling cross country so I’ve stayed at some really bad hotels recently, this one was clean, comfy bed, all utilities worked, quiet area, room felt private and sound proof. Pet friendly as well only $10 extra. The grounds around aren’t great but that isn’t really important compared to the room. Only issue was locating it, there’s no signage so it looked like an abandoned building when I pulled up.

When I first drove by, I thought it was abandoned. Then I realized it was the actual hotel that I had booked. The reception area had handwritten signs and smelled very musty. The hallway to our room smelled strongly of animal urine. The room smelled better and the air conditioning worked. The sheets were on the bed inside out, but appeared clean. The bathroom door knob was not attached, there was paint, scratched off of it, built up dirt in the corners of the floor. The sink did not have a full drain plug, but did not drain water efficiently. We slept all right, but overall couldn’t wait to get out of there.

There’s evidence that this hotel was a former major chain hotel. But, the room was not a bad place to stay. A/C works, bedsheets were clean and comfortable, and the service staff was nice. Another plus was it was very close to the interstate. Would recommend for only a overnighter.
