New Mountain Cabin perfect for outdoor enthusiasts- hiking, fishing, relaxing!
Your journey begins 3.5 miles off the pavement on 160 acres of private land, up a one-lane mountain road. This old logging road is Part of the Adventure- rugged and scenic—perfect for adventure lovers! A 4-wheel drive or high-clearance vehicle is highly recommended. This off-grid cabin, in the mountain amongst pine trees, has spectacular views! Overlooking the Clarkfork River (near 4 blue-ribbon trout streams), you'll feel on top of the world. The sunrises are spectacular! Located between Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks, along with many other lakes, trails, ghost towns, and historical sites, it is a perfect location for sightseeing! This is one of two mirror-image secluded cabins in the woods offering beautiful scenic views and miles of mountains to explore. We call them Sunrise and Sunset because of the spectacular views you'll experience from these two locations. They feature an open floor plan with access to the kitchen, bathroom, and private bedroom from the main floor. The spiral staircase leads to a loft with a queen bed and futon couch that unfolds into a bed. The staircase railing has wide openings, so we don't recommend these cabins for young children. Please ensure your children can easily climb stairs and won't have an issue with the wide openings in the staircase.
Entirely off-grid, but you'd never know it! Due to state-of-the-art technology, we're able to offer all the comforts of home:
*Elon Musk's Starlink high-speed internet delivers speeds well over 100 Mbps! You'll be able to watch movies without buffering, play online, and even work (if you must) as usual. *Smart TVs are located in the main bedroom and loft. Connect to any of your streaming services. *Gas grill with griddle for your barbecuing pleasure. *Deck furniture for enjoying the outdoors. *Fully furnished kitchen for cooking delicious meals. *Mini-split to keep you cool. *Gas stove with log set for chilly mornings or evenings. *Dimmable lights and ceiling fans Since the cabin is off-grid, we ask that guests take advantage of sunlight hours to run the dish washer and mini-splits and to turn them off when the sun goes down. Activities await you in the big sky country! Many lakes and rivers are nearby for water activities like boating, water skiing, or swimming. We facilitate kayaking float trips. Our location is perfect for fishing, as it is close to 4 blue-ribbon trout streams. We offer secluded private access to mountain trails for biking, hiking, and 4-wheeling. There are several golf courses nearby. The KettleHouse Amphitheater is a highly ranked outdoor live music venue on the banks of the Blackfoot River just outside of Missoula. Garnet Ghost Town is another favorite historical site for our guests. Since Clinton Market is the closest grocery store (13 miles), we offer pantry stocking services if you would like your groceries waiting for your arrival. (Please inquire about these additional services after booking.) One night under the starlit big sky, and you'll be hooked on a lifetime of adventure!!
Things to note: *We have a lodge within walking distance, which sleeps 12. Each home can be booked separately or in conjunction with the other two facilities. If you're interested in booking all three, please message me.
The cabin is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and a patio, and there's space to spread out with 2 bedrooms. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a sofa bed, a coffee maker, and a dining table. Change of towels is available on request.

Absolutely beautiful home, very peaceful, clean and serene. Highly recommended
The property is beautiful and Glenna went the extra mile to be an accommodating host! It is considerably off the beaten path, so make sure to have reliable 4WD transportation, but she was clear about that from the start so we had no complaints!

Anniversary Trip
We stayed here Friday/Sunday as we had a concert in Missoula on Saturday. Location is about 40 minutes from the house to the Grizzly Stadium. You drive down roughly 3.7 miles of dirt road, with the last 1.7 being a narrow low traffic forest service road. 4WD or high clearance vehicle recommended. Views were great, the cabin itself was very clean. Come prepared, as it's not a quick trip into town. Glenna was great at responding to any questions I had prior to the trip. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a secluded place to stay.

Anniversary Trip
My husband and I loved the secluded cabin. The cabin was clean, and very beautiful finishes. Just note you will be driving down roughly 3.7 miles of dirt road, the last 1.8 miles being a narrow low traffic forest service type road. As long as you're prepared, it's well worth the view. Location is about 40 minutes from the cabin, to the Grizzly Stadium in Missoula. The lights even when turned off, will flicker on which if you're a light sleeper may create a concern for you. They are very responsive to messages, we would definitely return if in the area again. They have two cabins, we were located in the Sunrise Cabin.
