Great design and convenient location. Only watch out is the water drain is slow and water reservoir can be uncomfortable for guest. maybe put a sign for “slow drain” can help guests to adapt the water flow.

Wonderful place to stay! The unique charm of the courtyard speaks for itself, and the cleanliness and comfort are absolutely impeccable. The tea lounge offers 24-hour free coffee and various drinks, and the complimentary afternoon tea includes freshly made noodles and wontons that will definitely fill you up, with a different variety of fruit every day. The service covers nearly everything—they helped with laundry, restaurant reservations, and calling taxis, and even assisted us in renting bicycles remotely. The dining spots they recommended were unique, lesser-known local gems rather than the usual overhyped social media hotspots. The staff are warm, welcoming, and attentive, and their English is excellent. Many foreigners stay here, and I bet they absolutely love this authentic, Beijing-style courtyard (Siheyuan). While some of the facilities and decor details naturally fall short of big luxury hotels—for instance, the TV internet connection lags , minor wear and tear on the wall sockets and floors, and the bathroom fixtures aren't the most advanced—guests who want to experience a historic property like this don't come for high-end renovations or luxury equipment in the first place. I would give it a 99 out of 100! (Saving that 1 point just to say "keep up the great work!" 👏)

Highly recommend to all who want to experience Beijing Hutong living, very homey feel, the property is artistically designed and immaculately maintained , the tea serving ritual is a must to experience… and the traditional Beijing snacks (fried sauce noodles, wonton soup, tea cakes) are so yummy that my kids said they are the best food they have tried Beijing.

Nice hotel, very spacious room, a small rooftop pool and extremely friendly staff. We really got all the help we needed from them and they were very kind the whole stay. Would highly recommend staying here.
