Stayed on business and checked in easily and early. Breakfast was good. Rooms were quiet. Bath was great. Also happily staff respected the do not disturb sign, which is not always the case in China. As 5 star, I understand they want to do turn down service, etc, but I prefer less people in and out of my room. Also the room didn't smell of smoke, which though China has a no smoking indoors policy it is quite often rooms smell of smoke. The last night I was there there was a bit of an off smell in the bathroom after the cleaning, but not strong. That was the only down point. The hot tub / pool area is very nice. Location not super convenient, but close to the subway.
The Four Seasons in Beijing is highly recommendable for both leisure and business: + great and friendly service + big, nicely decorated rooms + delicious breakfast with a variety of choices + big fitness club for cardio and weights, a swimming pool, a Whirlpool, and a spa I would go there again!
The personal service and attention here is unrivaled. The hotel is beautiful, the restaurants delicious, and the rooms very comfortable. A wonderful mix of North American luxury and Asian style. A must stay in Beijing.
The staff and service at this Four Seasons was exceptional. I liked to be able to unwind from a day of meetings in the lounge. Such a bonus that the staff is well versed in English and helped us get to our meetings away from the hotel with ease! I would not consider staying elsewhere in Beijing!
As with many Four Seasons, the best thing is the service level. At Four Seasons Beijing, they ANTICIPATE what you need. Example : we checked in very late (past midnight) due to a late flight. Check-in staff rushed us into our room anticipating we were tired ; they handled the registration themselves after I simply handed over passport and credit card. Without me asking, they tell me that I will get late checkout the next day. Other highlights : breakfast buffet is very very good. Eat local and try the noodles that a chef prepares to your specification. Concierge desk is extremely responsive even to email requests. They are back to you within minutes. Good location a 3 minute walk to a subway station. Room for improvement in the housekeeping department : bathroom wasn’t clean (long hairs in the toilet and shower). All in all a great hotel which I highly recommend.
The hotel and service are very good. The experience was pleasant. The rooms are really big and comfortable, with big bathroom and the bad is very comfortable. Also, events are organized in a professional way. If you are traveling for business in Beijing this is the place to rest. Highly recommended.
I had a perfect stay at this hotel. Very modern with state of the art room. The staff was great, respectful and very kind. The transfer from the airport offered by the hotel is excellent. A person waits for you at the exit of the airplane and leads you through border and luggage procedures. A BMW waits for you and you receive a VIP welcome at the hotel. Fruits every day in your room. This is the best hotel I had in China.
All round excellence. The property, facilities and value were first rate. My only reservation is that, as a tourist, its location was a little distance from the main sites in and around the Forbidden City but it may be that there are this also applies to other five star hotels.
After 24 hours of travel, there is no better Hotel to check into than a Four Seasons. The Beijing property sets the standard and exceeded all of our high expectations on every level. The staff is superb from the bellmen, to the desk staff. to the concierge and restaurants. So helpful and courteous. After traveling for so long, why risk anything? The location is very central. The bed was inviting and the room very quiet. The exercise facilities, pool and spa were perfect for any road warrior. Have I mentioned how beautiful the floral arrangements were? The concierge,Oscar and his staff, were so helpful in setting up a day tour of The Forbidden City and The Great Wall. Why leave the property to dine out when the restaurants were so wonderful. The breakfast is all you could want and more and the Peking duck at Cai Yi Xuan was the best we have ever had. We thank the Four Seasons in Beijing for their wonderful hospitality. Highly recommend any visit include a stay at The Four Seasons.
I stayed at Four Seasons in January 2018 and was very impressed by the quality of the service. The rooms are modern and confortable and the breakfast has tones of options. Great and luxurous hotel and I will definitely come back!
