My husband and I have stayed in plenty hotels all over the world and can tell this the best hotel so far we had. Super clean and gorgeous designed room is the basic offer from Beijing Nuo Hotel. The most impressive was personal touch service we experienced. Surprisedly we got a sweet design chocolate from hotel on Easter Day and homemade chocolate with nice greeting cards on our last evening. During our stay, I have done online shopping and delivered to hotel, they have taken care the delivery for me and send to our room as well. We never experienced such wonderful service from any hotel but NUO! Many thanks to Frank and his great team for super hospitality during our stay.
My wife and I stayed here for three nights and it was just perfect. The staff were attentive and genuinely seemed to care that our stay was as perfect as could be. Frank Fang in particular was warm, generous with his time and gave us some great advice on where to go and what to do. We stayed in an executive suite and if you can it's definitely worth doing. Thanks again Frank and all at NUO!
Very nice luxurious hotel. Nice Lobby lounge to work and meet client. Very professional staff. Good gym. Good buffet. The decoration of the hotel is amazing. Good location with a big amounts of nice restaurants and bar around. The area is know as Lido area, It was known as expatriate area a long time ago.
Absolutely wonderful facilities and hotel design - my family and I really liked the blend of classical and modern Chinese features. The rooms have everything you require in a luxury hotel - Nespresso coffee machines, lovely bathrooms, comfortable beds and a good selection of international TV channels. The dining, bar and reception areas are also all spacious, well designed and photogenic. Breakfast each morning was wonderful - a huge choice of Chinese, western, Japanese and Indian dishes complemented by fruit, pastries, cheese, juices etc... very good. As many people elsewhere have commented, the location of the hotel is a little far from Tian'anmen Square especially if you are coming by taxi and get stuck in the notorious traffic jams of Beijing; however around the hotel are some really good choices of cafes and restaurants - Eudora Station is great for evening food/drinks, there is a Great Leap Brewing pub next door which sells craft IPA beers, Element Fresh is good for salads etc... therefore, although its a bit of a distance to the scenic spots of Beijing, the hotel is by no means isolated. Our only negative comment about the hotel would be regarding the service quality which varied considerably. Firstly, as others have stated, there are very few staff in the hotel who speak what I would call reasonable levels of English, even in the dining areas - for a 5* property in a global city, broken English is not sufficient. Communicating requests (e.g."can I have a glass of cold milk for my son?") were sometimes passed between 2-3 serving staff before finally being understood. Secondly, on arrival in the hotel (after midnight due to a flight delay), the night porter standing next to the front door made no effort to help us open the door, despite us carrying heavy suitcases and bags - he was busy on his mobile phone which didn't create a good first impression. Finally we found the service in the swimming pool/spa area also to be sub-par, rather than welcoming. For instance, I requested some assistance to help put air in my young son's arm flotation bands. The lady at the spa reception took the arm bands, disappeared to make a phone call, and said (in broken English) we could get changed first, then the arm bands would be returned. Having got ready to swim, the lifeguard returned the arm bands, still without air and said "our hotel no have pump, we can't help" before thrusting them back at me. A 5* hotel should, like every other similar property I've stayed at in China, offer such equipment, and if really not, then an alternative should be offered - 没有 is not a good enough response for any guest to hear. After 5-10 minutes I managed to blow them up by myself... whilst the lifeguard stood next to me - no offer of help, no conversation, just "why you no have hat, you need hat to swim" My wife who wished to sit and watch my son and I swim was impolitely challenged by the same lifeguard - "why are you here?" Overall though if you put to one side the sometimes variable service quality, the Nuo Hotel is a really good option in Beijing, well worth consideration, especially if you don't mind being based just a little bit further away from the sights of this magnificent Chinese metropolis.
We stayed here for one night for our anniversary. The hotel is lovely and the room is beautiful. We immediately relaxed. It would have been an easy 5/5 review except for 2 things: 1. we woke up in the night to a smoke smell (cigarettes) coming into our room, presumably from the air vents. It was strong enough to wake us. 2. The breakfast service ends at 10 on a Sunday morning. I know it's because they get ready for the paying brunch they offer, but I feel hotel guests should be the priority. A member of staff also hurried us at 9.45 and we didn't appreciate that at all. Otherwise a dream of a stay.
Excellent customer service and very good quality of food. Staff was all friendly and helpful especial Johnny in the front desk,he helped me in my stay for everything . The hotel is very beautiful an luxury , I will come with my family again!
I have previously sung the praises of Frank Fang and continue to do so but want to mention two other special people. Every morning at breakfast there are many people eager to help deliver what I need. But two special ladies go out of their way every time I'm there. Lisa and Stella are always so happy to see me and greet me by name. They remember my preferences and have memorized my routine. Sometimes they know what I want before I do. Most of all, their friendly, happy and professional attitude makes the perfect start to every day I am staying at my home. Thanks to them for wonderful service and infectiously positive attitude. I look forward to my next breakfast at the Nuo.
Stayed there two nights - superb experience. Rooms are large and modern. Awesome bed - firm but comfy. Great shower. Extremely clean and outstanding service. This is JW Marriott quality or even better at a more affordable price.
It is clear from the moment that you arrive that the staff are well trained and in the pursuit of excellence. I stayed on the club floor and experienced one of the best lounges I have been in. The food offerings were diverse, fresh and the service exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble and the morning fresh juices were delicious. Rooms were spacious and comfortable with every convenience. We found the hotel to be well positioned and the management went out of their way to ensure that my every need was catered for. It is a pleasure to experience excellence - well done to you all!
I have stayed at the Nuo multiple times and it impresses me more each time. The lobby is magnificent and resplendent with Chinese art. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. The food in the restaurants is presented with flair and can suit a variety of tastes. Service is excellent. The spa and recreation facilities are first rate. But it's the staff that takes the prize from the dynamite concierge desk to the delightful housekeepers. I have stayed in other good five-star hotels in China, but Nuo is different. I would go out of my way to stay there. Plus it's convenient to the airport and is surrounded by fine restaurants and more.
