Prime Hotel Beijing Wangfujing

My husband and I loved the Prime Hotel in Beijing for: the location (walkable distance to many sites and the Metro), the sweet and helpful staff, the breakfast buffet with many options to suit a range of tastes and preferences (I got hooked on the noodle bar, my husband liked the omelettes), happy hour, the in-room safe, the tastfull asian decor and lighting, and the concierge (that helped us book transportation to the Great Wall, find the subway, walk to the action-packed food alley). It was our first stop in China and a great way to ease into the country/culture.

I chose this hotel because of the location and price. My first experience is an "Orbitz" issue...the hotel isn't located at the location in the app link. It takes you to a place about 3 blocks away. When we checked in...the receptionist..."Allan" called us over but apparently wasn't completed with the previous guest as he continued working on the computer for another several minutes before attending to us. I asked if there were any upgrades available and received a blank stare. Thinking it was a language issue...I used my iPhone translator to ask if there were any upgrades available. He looked at my phone and then passed me the room keys without any acknowledgement as opposed to "no there are none available" or "yes there are and here's how much an upgrade would be." One day after housekeeping...we were left without towels. And finally...their website...and Orbitz..indicate there is airport transportation available for a fee. The night before out departure...the front desk said there is no airport shuttle and we needed to use a taxi.

Very convenient to subway, bus stations, restaurants, and shopping centers

Stayed here for 5 days while touring Beijing. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Most of them spoke English. Room was very spacious and clean.

I stayed at this hotel last week; after one night I went to travel and informed the hotel of my late arrival 2 days later. When I arrived for a subsequent 3 night stay at 10:30 PM I was informed that they were full and could not give me the Deluxe king size bed that I had already paid for. They offered me a twin Superior and when I asked if I could be refunded for the cost difference, the gentleman informed me that there was no difference in price, and ran my credit card charging me for the room. It took 10 minutes of arguing and showing the receipt of payment, for him to finally void the charge. I was promised a king size room the following day. His English was far from fluent. My Beijing tour guide went to talk to the manager, who we did not find, but spoke in Chinese to another reception person. He upgraded me to a room on the 10th floor which was excellent. Worth to mention that when I returned to the room to move my luggage, someone had been smoking in it. I reported this to the front desk, who assured me that all the rooms are non smoking. Doubt that they tried to determine if housekeeping was the culprit.

Our stay was nice. The carpet in the hallways is a bit dated. There was also an odor that was always outside in the hallways. Other than that everything was good.

Prime Hotel is a very beautiful hotel conveniently located near a subway stop, bus line and multiple shopping malls. There is food and water nearby at reasonable prices. The staff was helpful and hardworking. The food at the breakfast buffet was delicious. Food and drink outside of the breakfast buffet felt expensive.

We booked a family room but the first night we received a standard room for the same price.

My first time in Beijing, and hotel was perfect for me. Great location, not far from Subway, Mall's, Forbidden City, and tianemen square. Very nice hotel, the rooms, service an d dining area were excellent. I was very pleased and the price was right. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here on my next visit.

Compared to the half-dozen hotels I've stayed in in provincial Chinese cities, this was the best. It is close to a subway station and within walking distance of Tiananmen Square. Most of the front-desk staff spoke good English. The room was comfortable, spacious, and tastefully decorated. The restaurant and laundry-service were expensive, but the room price, with breakfast included and the substantial discount that seems common in China, seemed good value for money.

No WiFi in rooms only at lobby, in room u should connect ur notebook to lan cable cant reach to the edge of ur bed even After office our reservation office closes and until office opens charges same amount from your card as deposit Still not returning deposit back to my card even i checked out in the morning

I arrive at the hotel 2 hours after i was confirmed of my booking online but the front desk told me there was no booking. I gave the front desk my card and and asked them to check with the booking agnmency. But their English must have been roo poor to make the call. They charged my card for their walk in high rate. The front desk did NOT bother to check with my booking agency.

For the online price, this is probably the best you can get as far as location and comfort go. Stuff a little old, maybe a 4-star, definitely not 5-star. Workout facility like a joke. But otherwise not much complaints.

Stayed for weekend of sightseeing. Was able to catch cabs to local places or walk to restaurants and stores. Tour bus picked up at front door. Shuttle to airport comes once an hour - convenient. Variety of food and drink available at hotel.

Very Pleasant stay. It was clean and the staff were friendly.

This is one of the best hotels I ever stayed in China. It is in a prime location of central Beijing, yet very quiet. The staffs are friendly and the facility is very clean. I highly recommend this place.

Hotel is centrally located, 15 minute walk to WangfuJian and 20 minutes walk to the Forbidden City. Room are spacious and clean, Staffs speak decent English, Tour guide service offer by the Hotel are very expensive, asking price 1700 RMB for 1 day tour of the Great Wall. end up signing up with a local tour 210 RMB. Meals offer by the Hotel is expensive, advise going out to Wangfujian for food.

Very near to Forbiden City and other attractions, right on Wang Fu Lin comercial strip. Great value.

My mom thought I left my passport in the security box. She was so anxious and asked the staff for help. They were so responsible and even offered to deliver it to the airport. Luckily, my passport was in my pocket and my mom made a mistake. No matter what, I appreciate their offer.

good hotel, near to wangfujing, and about 100yuan take taxi to this hotel, from Airport.
