Great checkin, staff was lovely. Room was upgraded! I’m not always happy with an upgrade, it usually means a second bed we don’t need and maybe a noisier spot in the hotel but this was a jr suite and quite nice. The only annoyance was hallway noise between 12-1am but when I closed the bedroom door it was fine so became a non issue. We didn’t have time to use the pool, gym or free breakfast but it was being set out as we left and looked decent.

Our kids loved the hotel and the pool. Staff were nice, the beds were comfortable, and the price was great. But hairs in the bed linens and lots of noise during the night (creaks and footfalls from the floor above, the air conditioner, conversations from the common areas echoing in the wee hours of the morning) brought our rating down a little.

We booked this hotel for one night and it was the worst experience since a very long time. On arrival, we were very clear that we are three people family: myself, my partner and a nine year old boy. We were offered room 419 and as soon as we entered the room, we found the ceiling light flickering like Halloween lights and stretching out the sofa bed, it was dirty and wrinkled blankets and sheets. Before bedtime, we found there are only two bath towels and I called the front desk if we could have extra towel and shampoo (the shampoo is only 10ml bottle). We were told we have to grab them from the front desk which is a different building from our room. My partner went and was questioned why we need extra towel and shampoo. He explained nicely. After all, we had a wonderful experience with the Abbotsford airshow except for the unpleasant experience in this hotel.

Paid extra for early check in, no rooms finally given a different room than the one we booked. The room had no power to tv, fridge, microwave. After calling front desk four times was told sorry can not be fixed. They had six different things plugged into a power bar which blew. At 930 pm offered to switch us to different room. We were already unpacked. Next morning the front desk offered 5000 BW points which is approximately $20. And were told sorry but you booked through expedia so nothing we can do. Very disappointed.
