Hilton Garden Inn Philadelphia Center City
2/5 Poor
"I would give or check in staff 5 stars-kind, helpful, efficient. I wish I had noted his name, as from that point forward we were dismissed. My elderly mother in law needed coffee in her room, and the first day had pods. They were never replaced even after requests. We were told she could buy coffee at Dunkin. She moves with a walker, so while possible would have taken the energy she needed out of her leg for the family event. It took 3 requests to get bedding for the couch and when we asked for towels at 8AM were told they were "All out". Could not store luggage and were told there was no wiggle room for even one of our rooms to check out later.
Oh, and I got to assist with a community member who was having a problem in the public restroom and had to get security.
We had 8 nights between 3 rooms. Well over $3000 for this stay and we had to claw for basic support.
I've stayed in many Philly hotels, some great, others fine, this is the only one I've said I wouldn't recommend it at all. "
