Dishonest and Evasive- stay away!

Booked this Hotel through Hotels.com two hours before arrival. When I got there the receptionist told me it was booked for three days later and that she wouldn’t accommodate me unless I paid a rate nearly 100% more than the original. I asked to cancel the Sunday booking and she said she could not and it had to be done by Hotels.com. I then had to find another hotel. Contacted HDC and they said the opposite; that it needed to be cancelled by the Hotel. Tried for two days to get the date cancelled and was told it was non refundable. They charged my CC account today for the date and then sent me this review request. Total scam. I not my family nor my businesses will NEVER use HDC or stay at a Hilton hotel again. Dead serious.

The staff here is absolutely top notch! We had a minor issue in our room that was handled immediately. The breakfast bar was also a big hit with the kiddos. Would definitely stay here again.
