The Inn has great potential but certainly needs updating - bathrooms are lacking. Hotel staff and dining staff were wonderful. Food was great. Decorating was not what I would have expected in an old inn. The building has great personality - furnishings none!

This was the first time staying at the Inn of Cape May. The staff was pleasant and helpful especially the bell hop. Food was delicious. Parking was easy and attendant was very nice. The overall vibe and history of the inn added to the wonderful experience.

Terribly unfortunate

Could be a great place in a great location. I’m sure others feel the same. They need to put a little money back into the place. Was warned a day prior to arrival that they had heat failure issues. Staff was not accommodating plus arrived to find that our room have no hot water. Told me they would sent a service person to check but we checked out after three days and never had hot or even warm water. Staff seems not to care…. Unfortunately we will never stay there again. Could be a nice place, in a great location. Fix it up a little !!! The sink was falling off the wall in our mini bathroom!!

Good location. Clean Stayed on 5th floor and there is one tiny elevator for 3 people. An attendant is needed to operate elevator. When hotel is crowded it is difficult to use elevator.

We stayed at this lovely Inn in Sept 2024, the weather was gorgeous. The Inn is charming, the staff was EXCELLENT! The bar was quaint, bartender was awesome! music nightly. The food was very good. Delish Quiche and a cappuccino in the am. Nice lunch menu and dinner was 5 star! Did not mind at all using the stairs, we were on the 4th floor, we loved the walk up, more should. Easy living for a week. We will be returning next summer that's for sure.

We love the old style hotels and this is one. This was our second stay because we had a nice experience the first time. This time however, our room was extremely small. This would have been acceptable except for the condition of the bathroom. A small shelf was not secured to the wall and there was no mirror in the bathroom. This was brought to the attention of the front desk the next morning but was never addressed by the time we left the following day.
