The property is great, the space of our suite was perfect for my family, amenities are great as well. But the inconvenience of not having parking for bigger vehicles was bad enough to make us rethink our choice after driving around for 20 minutes and walking several blocks back to the hotel when we finally found a spot in the street. It was a long day driving the mountains. We were exhausted after driving and hiking to on top of it have to battle the parking issue. Small car drivers will have no problem at all.

If you want to get Lake Louise, morraine lake and other tours to Banff are provided by Blackstone which I would highly recommend as they pickup right off from door steps. This property has underground parking which is really convenient and easy to access any places near to Canmore

Great property. Two bedroom suites were great for a family. Living space with pull out made for a pretty tight fitting space though, really had to put the pull out back daily. No food or convenience store on-site meant we had to drive a bit, but was reasonable. Biggest negative was the fitness room, small and crowded with even two people in there. Minimal open space for moving around or doing dumbbell exercises. Also, fitness cleaning options were hand sanitizer and thin paper towels, very difficult to clean well. No fitness towels only beach towel size towels. Pool was good, kids enjoyed it. We also used the grill and it worked great.

Stayed here for a couple nights to check canmore, kinda pricey. Still have to drive if you want to go to the town restaurant and stuffs. The room is good, you pretty much have everything you need. It’s like a furnished small apartment

When we check inn hallway heater continue on even though hot day. Bathroom shower water has no pressure . front desk person is not cooperative at all. In room AC was not working at all.Room was i paid did not given to us. It not worth what they charged $550 us dollar. i am not just putting review but I would like to have my refund. Nothing take care or resolve issue.

Beautiful lodging in an area where there are mountains all around you. The room was clean and spacious enough for 3 adults in a standard Queen room. The hotel lobby reception staff was wonderful every time we spoke to them (daily). Reception staff offered us suggestions on where to go and what to watch out for. If you request it, they can provide you with bear spray (free) for the day / duration of your stay. Nice pool and hot tub area with a sectioned off bbq patio with tables and chairs. It was clean! The coffee in the room took some getting used to - and not sure we really did - but that was the worst part of it (which I don't consider a deal breaker in any case). They have a gym that I believe is open 24 hours. You can easily walk to shops and restaurants, drug stores, etc. Policeman's Boardwalk is close by, (walking) as is the main downtown area. It's a nice drive to Calgary, Kananaskis, Cochrane, Banff, and it only took us about 2 hours and a little bit to drive to Golden, BC. (that drive has gorgeous scenery). Again, it's right by the mountains - you can't go wrong! Happy we stayed here for our first trip to Alberta. Definitely the right choice. (and everyone seems to be happy in Alberta - they actually smile and say good morning / good night!) Just go! Canmore and Blackstone Mountain Lodge won't disappoint.

Great Vacation

This is our third stay at Blackstone Lodge. We like the location with easy access to the main highway, yet walkable to the restaurants. The hotel is very comfortable especially if you get a room with full kitchen facilities.
