Property Severely Misrepresented, Unsafe, and Unsanitary — We Had to LeaveWe booked this property expecting a private 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath home with a pool, as advertised. Instead, we encountered serious misrepresentation, safety concerns, and unsanitary conditions that forced us to leave shortly after arrival.Issues before arrival:We did not receive check-in instructions in advance, were sent multiple incorrect location links, and had difficulty reaching the host. The listing stated a 12:00 PM check-in, but on the day of arrival we were told check-in was 3:00 PM, causing delays and confusion.Misrepresentation of the property:The listing advertised an entire private home. Upon arrival, we discovered the property was actually split into two separately rented units.This was never disclosed. We were initially given access only to the upstairs unit, which had just one bedroom and 1.5 bathrooms. The host told us the full home would have cost much more. Other guests had rented downstairs, the pool was shared (not private), and we were told not to use the bathtubs. This alone meant the property was not what we booked or paid for.Unsanitary conditions:The unit was dirty. We found mouse droppings in cabinets, dirty underwear This was not a minor inconvenience. The property was severely misrepresented, unsanitary, unsafe, missing essential amenities, and not the private home advertised. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend that anyone stay at this property.
