Super friendly staff. A/c doesn’t work properly. Turns on and off every 15 seconds and you can’t sleep. Leaky bathtub faucet was extremely wasteful and annoying. Other than that, all was fine.

This is a motor court. The kind that was built in the '50s to accommodate car travelers. It's not a high class hotel. If you're passing through, or staying in Bridgeport for a few days to enjoy the outdoors it's a great choice. It is a motor court run by people who care about it. They keep it updated, well maintained, and clean. They are very helpful and friendly. The same person who checked me in at night was outside picking up trash in the morning. This is the kind of authentic hospitality you won't get from a corporate chain. It has everything necessary for a stay, including chairs and a desk. It has screen doors, so you can leave the front door open and get some fresh air when it's nice out, which it often is in Bridgeport.

My room was spotless and cleaned every day. Though on the smaller side, it contained everything I needed including mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker with plenty of in room coffee. Staff was helpful and friendly. For the fisherman, it had a cleaning station, fish freezer, with bags, rags, and free ice. Hard to beat that if you came to Bridgeport to fish!

I have to be blunt and honest: small town and everything is old and I was worried about what the room would look like and I was very pleasantly surprised! The lady at the check in counter was super friendly and kind. The room is small and old but well maintained and modernized (the inside amenities were not as dated as the overall building/city). Everything worked well. Only complaint would be a provided power strip on the desk that didn’t work, but on the opposite wall (under the window) was an outlet next to a mounted pocket/cozy to place your phone in while it charged.

The staff were nice and helpful. The room was clean. The propert was in terrible condition. There were 2 locks for each room door. The key only worked in one of the locks so we were given another room. Some window screens were disconnected from the frames, wallpaper was peeling in multiple places, paint was peeling off the wooden chairs outside the rooms, dead plants in pots, weeds everywhere, the bathroom fan made a terrible noise when you turned it off, the tub faucet leaked, and when taking a shower water came out of the faucet as if filling the tub. Obviously, we will not recommend the Redwood.to anyone.and request a refund.

Hotel staff was friendly, offered plenty of information about the area for breakfast as we got in to town late. We had our dog with us and they gave us an extra sheet for the dog so she didn’t have to sleep on the cold floors and the room was very cozy
