Parking very convenient. Property is old and run down but cleanliness was ok. Had a nice gas wall furnace that was relatively quiet and heated the room very well, important in Bridgeport in the winter.

Heating in the room was an issue. Heater stopped working while we went out 10 miles outside of town at 7 pm. Everything was closed except for one gas station. When got back we found the room dropped 10 degrees to a brisk 65 degrees. We turned the heater up 76 degrees, hoping it would trigger it to at least turn on. We used all the extra blankets they had to no avail. We woke up to the room at 51 degrees. (Also this is in the middle of winter, it was 10 degrees outside). When I let the staff know about the situation they were unbothered. They did call and left me a voicemail saying that the heat worked but I should have turned up to over 80. Smh

Though it’s an older property it’s well kept and very clean. My girlfriend said it best: “charming.” The old style wall heater was a bit noisy, but the couple times I heard it I was able to get right back to sleep. We’d stay here again.

You can tell the owners/caretakes take pride in the property...It's a motel and there's nothing fancy, but everything is neat, clean, and tasteful. Just a great small town vibe here.

The front desk staff was extremely welcoming! And the motel was so charming! Clean rooms, walking distance to everything in town and comfortable beds. Outdoor furniture with lights allowed us to sit outside after dinner. We stayed on our way to Bodie and absolutely loved it!!
