The food in the restaurant is excellent , 👌the atención and place is OK ✅......but I really think they need to improve a lot about the cleaning in rooms 👈👀👎

We love this place! Excellent location and clean facility.

It's like staying at Grandma's house all over again.

There are lots of bugs MD Kevin run often the water pressure when it turn on to make a shower or water in the faucets. At the restaurant the service was pretty bad at one point the waitress came up to me and asked me if I was done when I haven't even received the meal yet

Charming place, great location, loved the sound of the creek right next to our cabin.

We had a wonderful stay in the coziest room! It fit all four of us perfectly and was located conveniently close to all the natural beauty. It was a little strange that the hotel restaurant was the only thing open in town and we couldn't cook, but for a weekend getaway it was perfect. Thank you Gayla and friends!

Food at restaurant not good, clean, amenities sparse...ok but wouldn't recommend

It was a nice little gem hidden in a valley of mountains. Equipped with everything. Was pleasantly surprised to find wifi there, that too with such good speed. My husband had to submit his assignment, and it was a breeze. We video chatted with our families and showed them the cabin. They too loved it. I know some of the big hotels have awful wifi. Virginia creek had all the amenities and the location was icing on the cake. Loved it.

Very cosy and comfortable. Good service and very friendly staff.

Our cabin was right on the creek. It was cold (of course, it was December!) but the heating worked great and we were quite comfortable inside. Outside they have a picnic table and bar-b-que. Will have to come back in the summer to give those a try. I love how they include dishes and even a toaster for the kitchenette. We put the stove to good use and it worked well. The satellite went out several times, as did the wireless. But I guess that is to be expected due to the remote location. If you really want to get away from it all, but still have the comforts of home, this is the place! With the bunk beds, queen bed, and pullout futon, you could easily sleep 6 people, though it would be crowed when everyone is awake. If you're over 6 ft, you'll have to crouch in the shower.

I kind of randomly chose this hotel based on price/closeness to the ghost town of Bodie. The hotels in town (Bridgeport) were more expensive. I stayed in the "hotel" part of the property. There's a 5-room "hotel" portion and the rest appeared to be individual cabins. The hotel part is a log cabin consisting of 5 individual rooms with various sleeping arrangements. I had a cozy room with a queen bed and 2 singles. Loved the rustic log cabin charm which really wasn't rustic at all. Plenty of pillows, blankets to keep you warm as needed. Another pleasant surprise was the attached restaurant ! The food was actually pretty good. I had a spaghetti dinner and hearty breakfast. There was an eclectic collection of stuff on the walls to keep your eyes busy, including some things I hadn't see before and had to ask what they were used for- e.g. corn seed planter. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. I'm glad I chose this hotel versus the one's in town!

We spend an enjoyable night in a small, snug cabin next to a pretty creek along HWY395 and thoroughly enjoyed the clean, neat little cabin.

We chose a cabin and it was a lovely experience. We were in Cabin 8 and loved it. Had a fire pit and chairs to sit in outside and the cabin was right on the creek which was nice to hear the water flowing as opposed to the traffic off of the highway while sitting outside. It was a cozy cabin and very clean. My only complaint was the bunk beds, which were very uncomfortable (but what do you expect in a cabin). This place exceeded my expectations by far. Felt like we were getting a full camping/cabin experience but in all reality we were just stopping over for the night after visiting Yosemite right off the main road.

This is not your typical hotel/motel. Our "room" was a little cabin with a queen bed in the main room and bunk beds in the small second room (there were three of us). The room was bright and clean with very nice woodwork, with a private front deck with comfortable chairs. There is a scattering of different buildings and accommodation types and a nice homey feel. We arrived late (around 9:00 pm) and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Should we pass that way again (likely), we'll certainly choose Virginia Creek Settlement for our overnight(s).

Stayed here for a second time due to its proximity to Bodie SHP and Mono Lake.

Muy pintoresco. Con cabañas al borde Del Río y decoración del viejo Oeste.
