Thanks very nice stay. Quite and friendly! Again thanks
Never been more pissed off . When I looked at the pictures of the rooms on the internet for the Redwood motel they weren’t worth the 126.95 per night . But I didn’t have much choice . However when I arrived at 11: o’clock at night he had closed and had a sign on the door with my name and the instructions that he had rented me pull travel trailer. I was pissed. It would have been bad enough if it had been a nice one , but it wasn’t . It was old and the curtains were all bent up and disgusting. I wouldn’t willing pay $30 a night to stay in it! He charged me $133 . Ridiculous. My advice to someone staying in Bridgeport is don’t! But if you must do not stay at the Redwood motel the owner is a thief! Is that even legal?
Nice and quiet place. Room was cozy and clean. Perfect stay for overnight.
Nice for the price. When everything else is booked this is the place to go.
The town is close to a great hot spring, has a great bakery, supply shop, dinners. All walking distance from the motel. Its a bit old fashioned, and quirky, but it worked well for us.
The expression - a sucker is born everyday" applies to my experience in the place. I get to the place and the owner tells me that I am staying in a trailer...one of two RV's that are parked in the parking lot of this run down motel. I am quite surprised and thought he was kidding. The pictures on Orbitz show a regular motel room. The owner tells me that I chose the cheapest room - in hie motel/ I explain that it was the only choice Orbitz offered and at $135.00 a both he must be out of his mind to park a RV in his parking lot and offer that as a room. Is that legal? Mind you, the rooms are not very nic either - but at least they do not have an airplane bathroom and very little water! The entire experience was horrible. The owner had the nerve to tell me that in the morning I could take a key from the "return key box"/ someone who checked out early and use that rooms shower because the hot water in the RV is limited. Give me a break!
Our stay at the motel was good, better than expected. Very friendly staff, clean rooms, extra towels for the hot springs. Great spot if you're going to Travertine hot springs, also only about 45 mins to Yosemite entrance.
