Usually I have nothing but praise for this hotel however this stay was utterly disappointing, the initial staff upon my arrival were fabulous, very friendly and chatty, my room was lovely, the snacks a nice touch the bathroom however had an overwhelming smell of cigarettes, I found myself washing the walls (I was too tired to kick up a fuss), there was also a plastic bag over the smoke alarm (I removed it) the tablet in the bedroom was stuck on WhatsApp. I mentioned the bathroom to reception in the morning, he apologised and said he’d have the bathroom cleaned. My second evening the lights weren’t working at all nor were the tablets or the app, I informed the reception staff who eventually came to try and resolve it (unsuccessfully) and left me sat in a cold and dark room for over an hour, when I called reception again to find out what was going on I was told to pack my stuff and I’ll bring you a new key? The girl knocked on the door, held out a key card, said “here” and walked away. My new room had working lights, switches only as the tablets again weren’t working so the aircon wasn’t adjustable I phoned the reception to have the link resent for the new room but still didn’t work, I was too tired to care, my third night was no different to the second minus the additional snacks in the room, which is an added extra that’s paid for. Overall a very disappointing experience, your only credit was the girl on reception upon my arrival and the lad in the morning

The hotel is located in the Jewellery Quarter ideal for access to many bars and restaurants including the superb St.Pauls Market and only a 10-15 minute walk from the city centre. Our room was comfortable if a little on the small side (no tea/coffee making facilities). Staff were uniformly friendly and helpful

Paying £170 for one night no bar no real facilities nowhere near bars etc is absolutely not on! I booked through a link for a business meet up and didn’t really check it out first! Extremely disappointed!

Hotel review. Small overpriced room. This hotel managed some unique moments. Whilst stylist, it is an no food or drink hotel. A first. Had the most expensive room (211) per night per sq meter I have ever stayed in. The small wet room that required extra towels to dry the toilet. The king bed is 3/4 of the room. Set in an alcove so only one side of the bed is accessible, meaning climbing over my husband to get in and out. No bin, or drinks machine, only available if you paid the £55 to upgrade. Given the £1xx. The hotel boasts to be set in an up market area hence the price. But 5 minutes down the road is poor housing so dont understand price On welcome there was a person being sick in a bag on the reception floor for 5 minutes I dident say anything but mentioned to receptionist who said yes we are aware hes waiting for a taxi. They dident seem concerned No bin in room tbh no where to put rubbish so the hallways which are tiny are filled with rubbish towels and the hoover for the cleaner. Coffee machine downstairs priced at 1.50 for a standard drink. Also air-conditioning in rooms as no ventilation tiny room you go from hot to cold to cold to hot. Room price, a rip off of a room. I had just stayed in a huge room in the centre of Leeds for two nights for less. Nice staff good location. I recommend you pay the £35 or £55 to upgrade or find better for less. The local carparks are not associated with the bloc anymore so a hefty 28 pound for 24 hours

Modern hotel and just 10min walk from Arena in a really nice part of Birmingham. Room was compact but had everything you need for an overnight stay. The 4* was because the was noise throughout the night of a lift or machinery somewhere in the building.
