Historic Bonny Cottage in downtown Beaufort SC

Bonny Cottage is located on the property of Ellen and Mike Tomy, one block from the Beaufort River, in the beautiful historic district of Beaufort, South Carolina. It was built in the late 1800s after the recent "unpleasantness". This cottage is so cheerful and has such a sweet spirit, a bad mood will disappear very quickly. Lovely views are all around.
Bonny Cottage has one bedroom with a comfy queen bed and a large bathroom with a shower, a full kitchen and laundry room. It stands alone and has a pleasant patio outside for early morning coffee and late afternoon wine and cheese. Children under 12 are not allowed. Check-in is at 4:00 pm, Check-out is at 10:00 am.
***(In these precarious times, we suggest guests purchase travelers insurance.)(Note: The living room furniture is antique and moderately comfortable.)
The cottage is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and a balcony or patio, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Guests can enjoy a TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Absolutely perfect place!

The cottage is stunning with paintings by the owner herself. It was like staying in a gallery. Every detail was accounted for and we have absolutely nothing to suggest for improvement. Amazing Memorial Day Weekend!

Property was impeccable all around. Attractive, period decor, super clean. Every aspect thoughtfully appointed, down to shower head and toiletries. We stayed five nights at this lovely place. It is cozy and perfectly located to downtown. Super clean and we had everything we needed provided for us. Plenty of space for me and my wife. Downtown is really at most a five minute walk and the walk is rather nice. Definitely would stay here again. Oh. And just saying the people of this city are the nicest people on the planet !
