Picked hotel for location close to historic city center. Was very pleased and surprised by how close. Right across from park and marina and minutes from restaurants, shopping and historic Beaufort. Hotel was clean quiet and well managed.

This is a great place to stay because it is so convenient for activities in the town. It's across from the main area for the start of carriage rides and town walks and just a block down from the stores and restaurants in downtown Beaufort. You can park the car and get to so many places in a short walk. The staff is very helpful in giving you information on places to see and things to do. The hotel even has some state park passes that you can sign out and use for entrance into nearby state parks such as Hunting Island which has a lighthouse you can walk to the top and a great beach for kids to splash in the waves.

Across the street from the Beaufort River on Bay Street. Short walk to restaurant, shops and the historic district. Great complimentary breakfast with freshly prepared dishes on the hot bar and local in season fruit. Staff is courteous and friendly. Rooms are comfortable, clean and have expected amenities. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location for shopping, dining, and relaxing by the marina. Beaches are just a short drive away. Great breakfast and nice secluded pool.

The hotel is super-convenient to shops and restaurants. The room was immaculate and generously supplied. The staff consistently went out of their way to be helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was more than adequate. Would definitely stay here again! Not a fancy hotel but very comfortable.

Great location! Within walking distance of the old city. Staff was very professional, and helpful / good southern hospitality! I will stay there again.

Very nice stay. The hotel was walking distance from down town.

This hotel is right in the center of Beaufort, within walking distance of the stores & restaurants, the marina, and the beautiful harbor park. The big oak tree shades the yellow umbrellas of the outdoor seating area, right on the corner of the main street. The hotel personnel have always been very pleasant & helpful; the rooms are spacious & clean; & they have enough parking places & a big breakfast room.

I have been to Beaufort many times in the past 30 years, but never have I had the experience of such fine overnight accommodations. The Best Western Plus Sea Island Inn is ideally situated on Bay Street, providing easy access for walking throughout the historic district and for driving anywhere in the area. The occasion was my sister's birthday, and she had never visited Beaufort before, so we took full advantage of the Best Western's wonderful breakfasts before three days of memorable sightseeing. The rooms were immaculately clean and comfortable; the personnel could not have been more cordial or gracious to us. I cannot find fault with this establishment or recommend it more favorably.

Great location and very friendly staff. Would stay here again.

The Best Western could not have been in a more perfect location! You have a view of the water directly across the street and we could easily walk to all the shops, restaurants and historic homes. The room is large and updated. Continental breakfast is convienent. Would recommend for all.

If you are staying in Beaufort to be with your new Marine this is the place to stay. It is in an excellent location, removed from the main drag, and is really close to Parris Island. The rooms are large and very comfortable. The hotel is located right across the street from a beautiful marina and park . The staff is fantastic! The rest of my family stayed in what i would call the "hotel area" in town and were very jealous of where we were. i would wake up to a jog through the marina and the quint downtown area. They would wake to golden corral crowds and drunks in their parking lot. Sea Island is the only place to stay in Beaufort

Great breakfast, helpful info about town and maps to explore vicinity.

My family was there for my daughter's graduation from Marine Corps boot camp at Parris Island. The hotel was about 15 minutes from the base's gate, and it was an easy drive to the base. The hotel had a continental breakfast that included hot food each day, such as biscuits and gravy, eggs and sausage, etc. Very good. Breakfast usually starts at 6 but because family day at the base starts real early, the hotel started its breakfast at 5:30 to accommodate the families going. I thought that was terrific. Across the street from the hotel was the bay, so the sunrises were terrific. Definitely a hotel I'd stay at again.

This visit to Beaufort, SC was one of the best we have taken. The hotel was excellent, the room was very clean and everything we needed was there. It is located to all you would want to do and see. All in all we enjoyed our stay at Best Western Plus very much. Highly recommended!!!!!

Visited with family in the area. Shops in the area are fun and the restaurants quite niceWaled along the dock. Playground for the little children three blocks away. Beautiful gardens all over town. Complimentary breakfast was very good and everyone very polite and helpful.

In Beaufort for easy access to Parris Island, Marine graduation. Historic, location was perfect for access to Parris Island, and walks along shore or to fine restaurants and shops. Only missing was fact that the town shut down at 5 pm, but early military scheduling was conducive to getting up very early and turning in earlier than usual.Hotel was more than we expected, attactively consistent with area, friendly staff and comfortable accomodations.

Stayed at the Best Western for my son's Marine graduation. The location was great, the breakfast was great. The staff was very friendly.

Very pleasant! Hotel location in the historic section added to ambience! Hotel management was accommodating to our personal needs! Would highly recommend!!!

Great experience!
