First you check in at a kiosk with a person on a screen . The property is run down and the stairs are extremely not safe. The doors to the hallway are left wide open because they are broken . The free breakfast is a continental breakfast with no choices The room it’s self was actually updated and nice except it was hot ( set the a/c to 64 and it took until 2am got it to cool down . The only awesome thing about this hotel is the view I had at my window which was on the backside of the property.

The steps to the upper level where we were staying were a bit uneven. The hallway to our room spelled like cat urine. Staff was helpful. I was overcharged either by Orbitz or Howard Johnson. Will look into it once I get home.

Apparently the locals call it bugs drugs and hoes. Disgusting place that has permanent residents.’

Recently renovated looked nice and clean. Breakfast could be better.

The rooms and hall smell of smoke. Patio door was. Not securely Locked.

The WIFI only works in the lobby. The walls are paper thin. You could hear conversations in rooms on either side. The refrigerator had a massive ice buildup.

I would have liked the lower floor patio doors to be functional, however i could understand it being a safety issue. Overall a good stay.

Location of the facility is very nice. Good view of the wetlands and quiet setting. Pet friendly with room for walks. Unfortunately, after hours requires you to check in at a window, at which there was no one. The bell doesn’t work, so I stood there freezing. I had to call the hotel to get their attention (being from south Florida, 40 degrees is too cold, and I wasn’t dressed for it). Once inside, the staff was friendly and professional. After check in, the biggest issue was that the seal around the bathtub drain was apparently not good, as water was leaking under the tub, which bubbled up and made it feel like you were bathing in a bounce house. Other than that, the setting was good; it was quiet and had plenty of places to walk the dog. Overall, I would go back, but I would check in earlier!

Wireless was down and repeated calls to support number did not help. Bath in office was out of service. Bathtub floor was a lining that had water trapped under it and it was extremely difficult to balance--this is a potential liability item as someone eventually will lose their balance. Hallways stank like someone put deodorant on w/o taking a shower. Charged $25 per night for small dog when the floors are not carpeted. Overall way over $100 per night for a $50 per night experience. We will not consider HoJo in the future. Next night after our stay was at Quality Inn in Duncan SC and it was a night and day experience.

Everything was fine just needs to be updated The breakfast was not too good and there were ants on the bowls and food and counters.

Friendly staff. These room are old, needs major update.Room smells terrible , had to buy air freshener to spray throughout stay. Electrical outlet in bathroom doesn’t work to use blow dryer, bathroom faucet is old and rusted . Not as picture on the booking site. Only stayed here for the Marines graduation!!!

it was fine. was helping a family member move so it was convenient.

Everything was old and broken and i paid 100 dollars the night ......

Online photo made I look a lot nicer then is was, the room was clean but had an over powered smell of cleaning products.

From the pictures, this looks like a very nice hotel but in reality the hotel is half way renovated. The tub is like a waterbed so be very careful not to lose your balance. I found mold on the shower head which was sitting under 5ft so prepare to bend down to wash your hair. The room smells of mold and was not very clean. I found pubic hair next to the bed as well as lots of dust and grime in the corners. Looks like they do a quick sweeping at best. The sheets were stained on the sides and the breakfast is depressing. Really expected more...
