Beautiful property. Restaurant was great. All staff very friendly and helpful. Only problem we had to leave for airport at 4:30 am. I did not want to stand at train at that hour of the morning so need to call taxi. Shuttle service did not start til 6:00am. I was not aware of that

Very clean and the staff were beyond friendly and knowledgeable and professional. The room was uncluttered and peaceful on my mind. The bed was great and the bedding too.
Gregory at the front desk is awesome! Very friendly staff overall. Anthony so patient with all my questions. Their computers can be a little slow, do allow 20min to check out. Otherwise, everything was better than expected for our group of 4.
2nd visit to this hotel. First visit was ok, however this visit wasn't good. Hotel advertises beds as being king however they are queen. Hotel's website states free parking but when you get to the hotel they advise you it is only those who book directly with them who get free parking (their website doesn't clearly state this - previous visit was free). Heating was on permanently which meant a 30C+ room temperature, impossible to sleep. Walls are paper thin, could hear everything neighbours said and the walls would move anytime a neighbour closed their door. When these problems were pointed out to staff, they became aggressive and dismissed all of this. Sadly won't be back.
Very friendly and helpful staff at Registration. Easy free bus to Basel Airport as well as free public transportation ticket to town center. Nice breakfast available for purchase.

This is a very good hotel for travelers wishing to have airport transfers. There is even a chance that you can arrange a transfer to the River Cruise port. The transfers are not guaranteed but are possible if you arrange in advance and the driver is available. Good staff and very good location.

Airport Hotel Basel is perfectly situated for those who are flying out of EuroAirport International Airport. Bus #50 stops right in front of the hotel, and the hotel staff bends over backward to provide timely shuttle service to deliver guests right to the terminal. The decor is contemporary and the showers are the best I've seen in any hotel in the world. Best described as "torrential," the shower alone made me consider staying an additional night!
My husband and I were driving from France to Switzerland for the weekend and needed a place to stay on the way to break up the drive. We had three criteria when looking for a hotel. Cleanliness was first, location of the hotel on our route, and free parking was the last. The Airport Hotel in Basel successfully met all of our needs. The room was large, clean and modern, large tv, free WIFI (although it wasn't working while we were there). They also provided free transportation tickets into Basel and a credit to their casino downstairs. Unfortunately, with our timeframe, we weren't able to take advantage of either. All in all, the hotel was great for the price and suited our needs. I would definitely stay here again if we needed a place in Basel.
Start by saying Switzerland is expensive. Breakfast expensive, Coffee(small) croissant & juice 5 CHF. Continental buffet 19 CHF. Not plain that internet is not free. WIFI is. However staff corrected bill. Staff is very attentive and it is a huge bonus that the hotel issues a Basel public transportation pass to use. Basel has an excellent tram & bus system.

Please note that all of our beds in all of our rooms have the following dimensions: 193cm wide 203cm long. Only due to these dimensions and according to industry practices and guidelines these beds are identified as king size on our website. In regards to the parking; it is indeed a fact that parking is free when booking direct with the hotel. For guests booking over another platform, the service comes with an extra fee. This extra cost is clearly stated on all external platforms. Our Hotel is certified as a CO2 neutral building. This means that the room temperature is depended and regulated based on the external temperature. By default, the inside temperature can be adjusted between 21 to 26 degrees Celcius. Moreover, due to the proximity of the Hotel to the airport, soundproof windows and doors are placed in every room. We apologise that you experienced an unpleasent incident with members of the staff. I can reassure you that impolite behaviour does not copy with our corporate values and we will look upon the incident you describe to take certain action.
