Delicious breakfast with fruit, yogurt and granola with a choice of egg. The coffee was excellent. The view on the lagoon and the infrastructure was breathtaking. The room was clean and the design fit perfectly with the general vibe. I recommend staying at least two nights to truly enjoy the space in its entirety, something I regret not doing. If I come back to Bacalar, I will definitely stay here again.

From the moment you walked in to the open air lobby/reception area. You just feel a sense of calm. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. And you meet a bunch of fur balls that are there to help you enjoy your stay. The rooms are well maintained and give you a place to completely unwind. Not having a TV in the room makes it so that you truly disconnect from everything. Staff is also very helpful in booking activities such as a sailboat ride around the lagoon and other tours that are available. If you’re looking for a place to come in and just completely relax, this place in 100%.

Our stay at Naya was truly wonderful. The hotel’s location is exceptional and adds a unique sense of charm and tranquility to the overall experience. Our room was beautifully designed, and we especially enjoyed the direct lagoon access. The staff was attentive, welcoming, and consistently helpful throughout our stay. There are a few areas where the property could improve. While we understand the hotel is surrounded by nature and located within the jungle environment, the pools, decks, and common areas could be maintained with a bit more attention to cleanliness and upkeep. The bar experience could also be enhanced with a wider variety of drink options and more knowledgeable bartending service. Overall, we had an amazing stay at Naya. The lagoon views, beautiful room aesthetic, and peaceful atmosphere made it a memorable experience in Bacalar.

One of the coolest places we’ve ever stayed. Amazing jungle setting, super cool rooms with amazing decor, romantic lighting, thatch walls, outdoor shower, awesome plunge pool at the front door. We loved the cats everywhere, the open air reception lounge, awesome, friendly staff and beautiful lagoon. This place was like a super cool, semi fancy Gilligans island. If you like boring, beige, generic hotel chains, don’t come here.

What an incredible tranquil stay. Staff is incredible, morning breakfast is healthy and so clean. There’s a bocce court and the restaurant has a simple menu that’s vegan friendly but also serves incredible rib eye! Hotel is set in the jungle with a short stroll to the lagoon for a sunrise kayak ride. Highly recommend for a tranquil stay. This is just outside the centro which was fine for us since we had a car. We will definitely be back.

Our stay at Naya Bacalar Adults Only was everything we hoped for and more. Located in the jungle area of Bacalar, this property offers a peaceful and intimate experience with beautiful boho vibes throughout. The bungalow-style rooms are charming and blend perfectly with the natural surroundings. We stayed in a bungalow with a private pool, which was very convenient and a wonderful way to relax after a day of exploring. The pool is not heated, but honestly, it wasn’t needed as the sun warmed the water throughout the day. The bungalows also include air conditioning and a ceiling fan, and we loved the outdoor shower, which made the jungle experience feel even more special. Our stay included breakfast each morning, which was incredibly convenient. We were able to start our day exploring without having to worry about finding breakfast elsewhere. For lunch and dinner, we enjoyed both the hotel’s lagoon-view restaurant and the many dining options in El Centro. There is something for every budget, from affordable local restaurants to elegant dining experiences. One thing that truly stood out was the exceptional staff. Everyone we encountered—from the housekeeping and maintenance teams to the concierge, restaurant staff, and even their preferred taxi drivers—was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making our stay memorable. Our safety and comfort were always a priority. That being said, Bacalar itself felt very safe, and at no point did we feel uncomfortable.

Beautiful design amid lush jungle plants, Naya is a bit out-of-the-way, about 3 miles north of the Bacarlar 'centro' but for couples looking for a romantic getaway with a total sense of privacy amidst the flora and fauna, this is a great choice. Had some of the best sex of my life in that huge bed under the palapas, bathed in a soft orange glow. Each A frame is surrounded by its own walls of stone and bamboo, giving you a sense of isolation from the world. All you hear are jungle cries of birds, insects and the occasional dog. The grounds spread out among acres, with the pool and restaurant/dock at different ends of the property. The owners cater to the yoga/holistic market, or to grown-up backpackers who now want a little luxury with their back to nature environment. My only complaint is that the many steps going down to the lagoon are challenging for us old farts with bad knees. I do recommend they put coffee makers in each room so one doesn't have to navigate the many steps for one's daily addiction. Everyone was charming and helpful. The furnishings and accoutrements unique and top quality. They provide Off to cope with the mosquitos, which can be plentiful in wet season. Maybe they should up their room rates a bit and just make all breakfast, whatever you choose, completely free.....it seems a little nickle-and-dime for a resort so otherwise boutique and niche....but it's their business decision. All-in-all a great place for lovers to stay in touch.

We just spent 7 absolutely lovely nights at Naya Bacalar and it exceeded every expectation we had. This place is pure magic!!! Absolutely gorgeous from the moment you arrive. The entire property feels like it’s been seamlessly carved into the jungle, creating an atmosphere that is incredibly private and peaceful. Our room was a true highlight; it looked like something straight out of a luxury design magazine. Beautifully designed, comfortable, and perfectly nestled among the trees with an amazing sense of seclusion. The staff were all exceptional, warm, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making our stay special. They went above and beyond at every turn. We loved the restaurant food. Every meal was delicious and beautifully presented. One of our favorite spots was the dock overlooking the stunning lagoon. It’s the perfect place to unwind, watch the colors change on the water, and soak in the tranquility. Everything about Naya Bacalar feels thoughtful and high-quality. If you’re looking for a serene, luxurious escape surrounded by nature, this is the place. We can’t recommend it highly enough and would return in a heartbeat!

Muy bonito el lugar , lo único esq tienen de mascota a dos perros y no limpian cuando los perros hacen sus nececsidades, así q tiene uno q andar cuidando donde pisa. Una mañana estaba lloviznando , súper ligero al grado q solo se escuchaba la lluvia pero sin mojarte mucho y no nos quisieron llevar café a ala habitación ni papel sanitario q nos hace falta que por el clima
