Located in the worst area in anchorage I felt unsafe and have to leave after one night of staying were planning 3 nights it’s not in its very limited motel in bad area and rooms smells terrible rooms are big moldy in bathroom Correctional facility next to the hotel I didn’t feel safe!!!

Very old motel in a very questionable part of town. Rooms showed their age, however were clean and comfortable overall. Kinda weird that the first thing you see and encounter as soon as you open the front door is the bathroom sink with very limited counterspace. The shuttle driver was friendly and accomodating. The Chinese restaurant right out front served very tasty food.

We were very happy with the courtesy, professionalism and helpful demeanor of the staff. The bed in our room was really comfortable, and the bedroom and bathroom were both a good size. The room was very clean and warm - if we had been staying more than one night, I would have checked to make sure I understood how to regulate the temperature. The breakfast really exceeded our expectations and we were grateful to have it, though the space in this area is limited and so we were lucky that another couple didn't mind sharing a table with us. I had reserved this hotel thinking it was near the main Anchorage airport and realized later that it is near the small craft one. However, the staff were able to shuttle us to the main airport on time, no problem, and we appreciated that this service is complimentary.

Not so good. Attempted tj change a room reservation is like drinking a bitter sweet soda. Impossible without a hotel itinerary number provided by email (never sent) and ended up being hung up on three times when trying to talk to a live person. Front desk told me they were to busy to talk to me and “to call back later” (after hanging up on me)

Older but well maintained property

This is a quaint mom and pop motel. The shuttle service is great. 24/7 pick up and appointment drop off. Room was clean. Older space but well maintained. My only complaint was the pillow was very flat. Two floors with outside stairs only. Breakfast is first cone cfirst served. So when they’re out of something they’re out. Got last scoop of eggs.

Place is decent if you manage your expectations. Shuttle service from the airport was prompt; driver was friendly and had helpful recommendations. Shuttle also goes to downtown or the railroad depot upon request. Front desk was also friendly. Room had a musty smell but good temperature-wise. Bathroom had surprisingly soft bath towels but shower had bar soap and shampoo packets. No issues with the free Wi-Fi or cable tv. Bed sheets had a few tiny stains. Walls are thin - people loud at 2 am but disruption was brief. Didn’t eat at the adjacent restaurant but heard good things. Nothing else around food-wise. Would stay again if the price was right.

We booked this hotel because it is closed to Merrill Field Airport. The staff at this Inn are incredibly wonderful and helpful. The free shuttle is reliable and the driver is friendly and on time.
