The room was comfortable and had a coffeemaker. There is a lovely restaurant on premises. We enjoyed watching the sunset over the frozen lake while eating Cajun Halibut Tacos and a Halibut dinner. The airport shuttle runs precisely on the half hour so it’s easy to plan your morning.

It was amazing to have the peace and quiet. The room was comfy and warm.

The property needs to be updated carpet, furniture etc

Our room was full of dust and mold in the shower. We had asked for a baby bed when we made the reservation and we were given a pack and play that was covered I. Pee stains. We had to go to Walmart when we arrived at 12:00am to get a pack and play for our baby. The pictures on the internet are deceiving. The carpets in the hallways are filthy. When we got to our room I was on the internet looking for a new hotel.

The property has an incredible atmosphere that has a lot to love - retro carpet designs, texidermy animals, etc. But the room itself was lacking in necessities. Not even a microwave, which I could get at a much cheaper chain hotel. Also, the door the bathroom was sliding door that left an one inch gap. No privacy what so ever. Some bugs were found in the room as well.

The view of the lake

The property was good for a one night stay, or using as a base for exploring the Anchorage area.

The Lakefront has fallen a long way from its days as The Millennium Hotel. The room was alright, however the beard trimmings left around the sink and in the shower were telling of how little care has been taken in house keeping. For $300 a night, we expected a little more service options. Check in was okay, but room service was non-existent. The hotel’s restaurant, a main reason for choosing this hotel, was out of many options, including all requested wines, and some of the beer that was ordered. Food was ordered and we had to remind the waitstaff of our order at least three times before receiving any part of our order. Would not recommend to anyone looking for a luxury hotel, or even more than a quick over-night close to the airport. Definitely not what we were expecting for the price.

The location is convenient to the airport and has a 24hr shuttle available. The place could use some updating- the carpet around the hallways looks filthy. It's close to a sketchy looking gas station. It backs up to a beautiful lake but we didn't get a room with a view. The restaurant was a bit pricey, decent food, good service though.

Very nice and well located. Handy from the airport

This is not intended to write something because I was simply angry for something in the hotel did to me or anything. No hate review. Just a message to let the hotel know that they have a jewel in their hands and they are letting it tarnish by just complacency. We had to change rooms the first night because the shower was dirty with long hairs. On our second room, we arrived and inspected it

The hrounds AZ re nice..right kna float plane lake. Good black out curtains. The best part was the bed! Wond err rful mattresses and wish i knew where to get pillows like those. We arrived at midnight and slept well all night. Orbitz price was good as we had two small DC ogs with us and had to pay extra for them. It was easy to get them out for walk near the frozen lake. The food and coffee werenot that good. My husbands bisquits and gravy were very disappointing nd my waffle was hard.
