Built in 1946, this cottage was recently renovated and holds a lot of the historic charm with modern amenities and comforts. Fast Wi-Fi for those who need to do zoom calls while visiting.
Access to the cottage is via keypad so all hours locked access is available for travelers coming in late.
Kitchen has stove, microwave, fridge, oven and plenty of space for longer term stays. Amazing water pressure in the shower. Super comfy mattress.

For nightlife, Chilkoot Charlie's is 5 minute walk which is a little mecca of different bars and has live music every night. If you head in, I advise heading straight to the bird house for some local stories. Ask the bartender there about the ptarmigan horn

Really great host with an average property
This host was a dream to work with. So communicative, quick to respond, and kind. With that said, the property is a little rougher around the edges than I expected. It’s a historic home, which I wasn’t prepared for. Amenities were fine, but the WiFi was terrible. I couldn’t hold a single zoom call. Also just outside the tub is some water damage that could use some attention. The property location is not as super convenient as I had thought from the ad. You will need a car to get around. Checkout was also a small issue. We arranged with the host to check out an hour later at noon but the cleaning staff kicked us out at 11:00. Overall, it was a clean place to lay your head, comfortable bed and couch and a reasonable price point.
