Fabulous place!

We loved our stay at Troy’s place. The apt was exactly as described. We had everything we needed. The kitchen is fully stocked including a tea kettle! I’ll definitely suggest this place to others who maybe traveling to Anchorage. Kava House is right around the corner and was great for breakfast!

Best apartment on our trip

Apartment was up graded and very nice. Manager had a nice surprise welcome when we walked in. Manager had signs outside well detailing where apartmemt C was located. He had numerous items inside that you could use.

Amazing!!

Everything was perfect....welcome sign, a couple snacks to eat, (which was super helpful after a long flight), attentive owner. Troy followed up with us on our arrival day before we got there with a phone call, to make sure we had everything. He even called us during our stay to let us know that a moose was in the backyard if we wanted to see it. The place was very clean and organized. He thought of everything to make or stay perfect. I can't say enough of the place. Definitely a gold standard of rentals.

Nice place to stay.

The apartment was nicely decorated and updated. The deck had a decent view of the snow capped mountains. It was quiet in the neighborhood. The host checked to make sure we were able to check in ok and left us with a small gift, bottles of water, coffee and a few other food items. It was fully stocked with cooking items, toiletries, blankets, etc.

Month at Elmendorf

My month stay in this extremely well kept VRBO was amazing! I have never stayed in a VRBO that was so well stocked-morning coffee, spices, kitchen, bathroom and laundry supplies. Troy has thought of everything. As a single women 3,000 miles from home, I felt very safe. Close to the base and shopping.

Quaint and comfortable

Very nice place, comfortable, turn key ready. Host was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. He called to make sure everything was satisfactory. It was warm while we visited, and as properties in Alaska dont have a/c, he bought fans after our first night realizing that the fans would make our stay more comfortable. Would stay here again.

Troy provided us with a comfortable, super clean, well-stocked place to stay that was convenient for exploring Anchorage as well as areas outside of Anchorage such as Wasilla. We could not have asked for a better base of operations.

Nice place to stay

The apartment was very clean and quiet. The owner, Troy, was very welcoming and had great suggestions for places nearby. He provided lots of amenities that you usually don't find in rentals. There was a lighted welcome sign inside with our name which was a nice touch, along with a small gift for staying there. Lots of coffee, bottled water, crackers and some other snacks all provided. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Cool apartment, meticulously maintained

Very modern and cool. The personalized electronic greeting ("Welcome, _____ family") was charming. Good location with easy access to main roads and highways. Lots of useful tips for local restaurants and sites to visit in the guestbook. Comfortable beds and great water pressure in the shower! Would definitely visit again.

Great value

Great value for the price. Close property as you drive in from interior alaska. The apartment is easy to access and directions are easy to follow. Troy was great at communicating. The apartment is upstairs of a garage so walking around a little louder isn’t a huge deal. The owners thought of everything. Towels are oversized and super soft. The apartment is clean and they lay out is simple and easy. Beds are comfortable. There is a private deck to use. The laundry is not in the unit, but in the garage in a private room, so it is not shared laundry. Apartment is absolutely beautiful water pressure in the shower is really good, we felt quite safe in the neighborhood and could have walked around with our kiddos and felt comfortable. Parking is reserved so not street parking. This will be our 2x a year anchorage spot from now on.
