Very good central location. Overpriced for what it is but very convenient if you don't mind paying that bit extra. Rooms can be noisy at night. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Worst bed I've ever slept in. Mattress was as hard as a rock. Also hotel couldn't provide me with gluten-free breakfast apart from some wrapped pastries and breadroll. So i had no access to continental or cooked food despite having prepaid for it based on ad.

The property is nice but needs some updating and maintenance. My room had a crack/ hole in the corner of the floor. I booked a twin room and one of the beds kept sliding around and had a loud creaking noise when we would sit on it.

Great Location

The hotel has a fantastic location close to the marina, beach and old town just below the castle. Can be a little noisy late at night but that’s expected in a city.

It’s a clean hotel located conveniently in the old city of Alicante. But, their towels were old and beaten up. They charge €3 for a paper-packaged water with the hotel name on it in the fridge. That kind of water is usually free in any hotels I know. But, what can we expect? It’s a cheap hotel, trying to maximize revenue… Get better and cheaper brand name water from Carrefour across the plaza.

I travel a lot and I will write reviews when I hope that it will help other travellers. This hotel has a good location. It is close to many attractions and has a nice roof top patio with beautiful views of Fortress St Barbara. But, that is about it. And the unfortunate part is that there are numerous hotels within a stones throw of this hotel, so the good location can be achieved at other hotels. Now for the negatives. The biggest negative was the odour. There was consistently a sewage smell that would occur at various times in the day. We would try to resolve this by opening the window, but there was a homeless person living directly below our window and he smoked frequently. He was close enough that you could smell his smoke in our room. There was also a pair of ladies underwear on the stairs. This is fine, but they were there for 3 days, which makes you wonder how frequently is this place being cleaned. When selecting a hotel/room I spend a considerable amount of time searching. The room I selected on the Expedia website did not match what we were given. We were in room 101. We stayed at this hotel for 8 days. As stated earlier, we travel a lot and we are not fussy, but I would advise that you can find a better place than this property.

The Hotel was fantastic, right in the Town Hall Plaza. Central for everything. All the staff were happy and helpful. The room was excellent too, we were overlooking the plaza and had a balcony. Breakfast was really good. Both requests made at the time of booking were met. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent location. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet was delicious and well organised. Couldn't fault the room. The roof top terrace would be an excellent location to chill after eating out in the evening
