We stayed at a room with a balcony facing mt Matterhorn. Train station is in walking distance and the streets are luggage friendly. The hotel is close to the river and you will have lots of dining options. With the forever changing mountain climate, clouds flying in and out, a nice Mountain View helped in deciding when to head to the top viewing platform.

Fantastic room. Great balcony to view and enjoy The Matterhorn. Bed and bathroom wonderful. The bar staff was not really good at mixing a good drink. The breakfast was quite nice and good

It was in the perfect location with a window view of the Matterhorn. We loved our room and the breakfast was excellent. A lot of great choices. I would definitely return to this hotel.

A nice property just a 10 minute walk from the train station. Several nice restaurants nearby. Breakfast was okay. We didn’t care for the coffee, but there was a nice selection of breads including croissants. We would stay here again.

We only stayed one night in summer and we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from train station and the room was spacious. We had a balcony with a view of the Matterhorn. Breakfast was included. Ideal hotel for short stays as convenient to train station and village.

Overall our stay was pretty good but there is no air conditioning in the buildings so it was hard to sleep. We opened the windows which made it a bit easier to sleep. The other thing is they don’t have irons to press your clothes available. They make you pay for the pressing service. That was a disappointment as usually when you travel clothes get wrinkle. Another thing I want to mention is that they don’t provide shampoo or conditioner. Other than that it’s a pretty decent hotel to stay.

Overall it’s a okayish experience and the downside is it’s like a 7-8mins walk from Zermatt train station and they didn’t provide the taxi(yes, they do arrange if you have more bags as it’s a car free town) for our return journey at 6am. I think they have their own taxi but it’s kept in garage for some reason. If you have more bags, better to opt for a hotel who provides taxi during early hours like 6am. They provided the taxi at 12.30pm when we checked in though. Also, luggage storage is at your own risk because their actual storage room is full when we went at 12pm and the receptionist said “you can leave in the hall way near reception” and we were worried about it. Coming to the room, the south facing with balcony has the best direct view of Matterhorn and it’s totally worth the extra bucks!

I love this property. My room is small but it is in good condition. I love breakfast options. The only thing to let everyone knows in advance is that it is up at the hill so please prepare for the walk and luggage.
