Fabulous location but Villa needs maintenance work.
The check-in was very easy as Paula had advised. The Villa is in a great location, very quite, close to mini Supermarket, a few restaurants and bars and only a 15-20 minute walk along to the Marine with a variety of restaurants and shops.
The Villa itself was disappointing, it really needs updating with a good clean, paint and general maintenance.The outside furniture sofa was tatty and cushions were very dirty. The sunbeds were old, frames need cleaning. There pool was dirty, pool cover was split and all the plastic 'bubble' bits from the underneath of cover were falling off into the pool, also the frame for the cover only had one wheel. The outside sink by the BBQ was also dirty and there was a big crack in wall by sofa.
Inside the villa, the handle to the utility room was hanging off, the screws didn't fit. The shower room windows were broken and cracked with just some taping on and looked terrible. In the main bathroom, the toilet syston kept on running for ages each time used and was very loud.
Only the main bedroom had air conditioning the other rooms didn't have ceiling fans or even electric fans to plug in. In the second room the double bed's headboard had actually been built half way across the plug so you couldn't use it.The clothes stand also broken in there. The fridge wasn't cold enough, even though it was on coolest setting and our food went off quickly, Kettle leaked and the lid broken.
It's such a shame as it could be a lovely place with a bit of TLC.
