We were in Barbados for a combination of business and leisure. The Coral Sands is convenient to so much and is a wonderfully managed facility. The rooms are spotless, comfortable and well- equipped. The view is fantastic. The air conditioning (when needed) works really well and the shower has great pressure. The kitchen and full fridge was such a luxury. We swam in both the pool and the ocean. Beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. There are two grocery stores within walking distance as well as many restaurants and a gas station. Freeway access is a convenient. There was a nice wine store in close proximity. Parking was always available right in front of the hotel door. The staff was courteous and helpful. They were there when you needed them and always had a smile. This is a lovely, small hotel that has more of a "home" feel than a big resort feel. This hotel is exceptionally well run and nothing is ever out of place. You get so much for your money and on a busy tourist island it is quiet and peaceful. We loved our stay and would not hesitate to stay again.

You just cannot beat this location right on the beach. Every room has a beach front expansive view of the crashing Caribbean waves upon the sand. The rooms are large with a full kitchen. A terrace with table and chairs for relaxing and sipping your wine. There are restaurants within walking distance right on the beach for lunch/dinner. I recommend the Carib Beach Bar! You are a 15 minute walk to The Lawrence Gap. Wine World is across the street. The grocery store in one block away. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room service was daily. The reason I did not give CSBR 5 Stars is because the room needs a new coat of paint. Also the walls could be scrubbed down to make it more sanitary.

if you like a quiet clean hotel with very friendly staff....Jerry, Troy, and Carlton and Nikki..this is the place,....in South Barbados very near St. Lawrence Gap...and south of Bridgetown by 20 minutes..the beach ion front of the hotel is somewhat limited by some coral jettys but...there is enough to hang out on as well as walk next door for more beach area...renting a car thru Top Car is a must to really get around the island an experience the wonderful sites and people of Barbados!!!

The rooms in this hotel are wonderful. All have terraces and face the Caribbean Sea. They are wonderfully clean and have full kitchens. There is a supermarket very nearby to buy supplies. Janelle, Carlson and Nicki are treasures and so accommodating. We felt like family. If there is any pitfall it is the beach which really is non-existant..Take the bus or van the Carlisle Bay

We thought this hotel was amazing. It's right on the beach with stunning views from every room. It's small and personal hotel but the rooms are very large - we loved that there was a well equipped kitchen area with a large fridge freezer to keep our drinks cold. The air conditioning couldn't have been better and the balcony overlooking the pool area and beautiful Caribbean sea was perfect for breakfast and watching the sun set. The hotel is close to a number of supermarkets and a short 5 minute walk from all the bars and restaurants at St Lawrence Gap. We spent every evening there and felt safe walking there and back from and to the hotel. All of the staff we had the pleasure to talk to were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I felt terrible as I had broken a picture frame one day during my stay but the staff had it replaced within an hour or so and the hotel were so good about it. We loved every moment of our stay here and would love to come back again soon.

Another fantastic trip to Coral Sands, location is perfect, right on the beach with spectacular views from every room. Two beach bars just seconds from the hotel, we frequented the Crystal Cove , great wee place for food and drinks. The location as I said is great for all your needs, restaurants, bars, and supermarkets just a 5 min. walk away. The hotel is not modern , more the old style Barbadian look but has huge rooms and balcony's which are kept spotlessly clean. The staff are all very friendly and the pool area is good too. so all in all just a great holiday which I would highly recommend.

I just got back from a 4 day mini vacation with my husband. The location is perfect, set far enough away from the road to eliminate any noise. The view from the room is spectacular. The only thing that spoiled it a bit was the enormous blanket of seaweed covering the beach. Not the hotel's fault of course, and it's a problem we encountered on other beaches as well. We didn't allow it to impact our time there at all. The pool is small but immaculately clean, and perfect for a short dip. The rooms are large, and could easily accommodate a family of 4. Huge amounts of storage, and a very good sized bathroom with double sinks and a very large shower. No tub, but I wouldn't have used it anyway. The only thing missing as far as I could see was an outlet plug for my flat iron. Minor gripe. Kitchen area is adequate, with a full size fridge, and all utensils and cookware were provided. Only thing missing was dish washing liquid, but we just bought a small bottle and left it for the next guests. Staff were mostly friendly, especially Gerry at the front desk, who was very helpful. There was another gentleman at the desk who was also helpful when we couldn't get the wifi to work, but I didn't get his name. I would absolutely recommend Coral Sands to anyone. The view alone is worth a million dollars.

Staying at a new place for the first time can cause a little stress - but Rosemarie and team really helped relieve any concerns we had by answering our questions via email and making arrangements for us. We've been to places where the staff is professional and nice - but this was different. The team here are nice people - it was refreshing to experience. The review: CSBR and the room Very nice place - clean and nicely put together. We had a room on the 3rd floor, much larger than an average room - double beds etc - the best part about the room is the balcony. Great size and great view of the pool, beach and water. The balcony has a small table and 2 chairs but is large enough to fit 2 additional large sitting chairs which is what we did so we could relax in the mornings and evenings. Pool and Beach The pool is your normal hotel pool with lounge chairs and umbrellas to choose from. The pool area also has a bar - the hostess was great. Very friendly - we even created our own version of Rum Punch! The beach was a big deal for us in that it never got "crowded" like some other beaches - you know the ones where they "pack and stack" people in beach chairs. - lots of room, not a-lot of people - we counted 8 at it's peak Overall - CSBR has now become our go-to place in Barbados, comfortable, friendly, private. We walked the beach and looked at other on the beach locations, and just had to smile - same sand, same water but they're charging 3x the daily rate. We'll be back to CSBR.

This place is just so lovely. It’s not fancy or luxurious but it’s got a lovely bajan relaxed vibe. Rooms appear a little dated in the photos and in a way they are but it kind of adds to the charm. Most staff are friendly ... one or two on reception are not the friendliest but pleasant enough. It’s clean and rooms are spacious with lots of storage. Very quiet and at times you feel like you’re the only guest there even though the hotel was full! I liked this. Location is fab! 5 minute walk to St Lawrence gap. Gorgeous beach right off the hotel that lovely for a swim. Couple of little beach bars a few minutes walk down the beach. Amazing views from the balcony. There is a pool bar but sadly this is rarely staffed and we had to go searching for a staff member and wait for them to come any time we wanted a drink. Also the bar is very basic. Didn’t eat the breakfast as having the little kitchen in the room was ideal. My feedback to the hotel would be to invest in some proper balcony furniture! The balcony’s with that view are the most important part of the hotel...cheap plastic furniture is just such a shame. Secondly having a decent pool bar, staffed all the time with options of some good pool side snacks would really improve the pool area. Also the beach chairs are a nice touch but it would cost a fortune to invest in some more luxurious or atleast working chairs. They are old and rickety! I’ve stayed 2 years in a row. If these little touches were implemented or there was evidence of improvement each year I’d stay here everytime! But I fear the evidence of lack of updating and refreshing things every year shows lack of care from management.

There is construction next door which takes away from the scenery looking towards the resort however the view from the rooms are gorgeous. The rooms are clean and very comfortable, also the showers are good and in a little time get very hot so be careful. The restaurant is good but doesn’t have many choices. The pool is well maintained and the drinks are strong. It is a little pricey but I it’s well worth the money.
