The rooms were very large, decorated beautifully, and ocean facing.
Quiet and clean with fantastic views from the rooms.
Great Vacation spot , good location, right on beach, friendly staff, cooking amenities.
This is my second time staying at this hotel, and I was very unhappy to learn, upon checking in, that the town was releasing sewage into the ocean from 6pm until noon the following day, every day. During our stay, the ocean was inaccessible, and I am angry that the hotel did not let me know of this beforehand, nor did they offer to move us to a hotel on a safer part of the island.
Great value - free wifi, access to small beach right outside, nice view, fully equipped kitchen, adequate water pressure in shower. Some squashed bugs on lampshade and walls, not a really big deal though. Received a voucher for a complimentary drink at the hotel, but the bar was never opened, so was unable to redeem voucher. Kitchen sink had a stench coming from it, which was ok since we didn't use it.
Overall, a very good experience. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. All rooms have fantastic ocean views and from leaving the door of your room to touching your toes in the ocean isn't more than a 2 minute walk. The staff is very professional and courteous and looked to accommodate any wish/answer any question that we had. The only quibbles I would say would be that it would be nice if there was an option of having either a queen or a king size bed rather than the 2 separate beds that are in all rooms.. As well, I would have liked there to be someone manning the bar area at all times as it could be hit or miss if you wanted to get a drink while sitting at the pool. The location of the hotel is good as you are walking distance to not only St Lawrence Gap but different beaches and 2 supermarkets which is nice because the food prices are definitely not cheap anywhere on the South Coast. Overall, a good experience and I would definitely recommend the resort to anyone looking for a great place to stay.
Coral Sands is close to the St. Lawrence Gap, so dining is within walking distance (just be aware that certain parts of the road has very narrow or no sidewalks, so walking at night can be quite interesting!). The staff is excellent and couldn't have been more helpful in booking restaurant reservations or car rentals or providing tips. The beach next to the hotel is beautiful and it was pratically deserted. There are chairs available upon request. This hotel does not have as many beach amenities such as the Tamarind Hotel in Paines Beach, which has jet skies, surfboards and other water sports equipment available for guests, though.
Went to a wedding, ate good food, swam. The Barbados Museum has a very good outlining of the Bajan culture.
It was the perfect location. The turtles were waiting for us everyday to swim with them and the beach was white fine sand and so soft!!
