Welcome to Lakeside Living! This sunset-view lake house is the ultimate place to relax and unwind or work from home with our super fast high-speed internet. It is quaint but large enough to accommodate several guests or 1-2 small families. The kitchen comes fully stocked with brand new pots and pans, plates, and utensils. The property is lake front and an excellent spot for fishing or just grilling on the balcony. The house sits up high and there are quite a few stairs-see photos.

My group and I had a relaxing overnight stay. The host was very responsive and checked in on us to make sure our stay was exceptional. The place was well kept and had everything we needed to be comfortable. My group and I will definitely return in the summer for the lake!

Everything about this house was perfect, and our hosts were outstanding. Check in & Out couldn’t have been easier, And if we needed anything they were always available. This house has a perfect layout, we had a nice family gathering in the basement for the Bears game, Awesome place to watch a game!We will definitely be back this year.

The property was not well maintained. The stairs both inside and out very very steep. The worst part it was filthy everywhere. Mold and mildew in bathrooms. Broken appliances, not enough towels for our party. Too much personal stuff in bathrooms and in kitchen and fridge. Landscaping was horrible. We have never had to write a bad review for over 20 properties we have stayed at, very very surprised with the other reviews on this property. Have to wonder if they are real.

Awesome. Steve was wonderful and helpful. We paid him a fair price to take us out on the lake with his pontoon boat. He lives nearby and was there if there were any problems.Highly recommend!

A group of high school friends gathered for a mini reunion at the cozy lake house. It was a great location with three areas to sit and reminisce - the living room is cozy, the deck off the house is a great place to watch the sunset, and the fire pit area is private and peaceful right by the water. The kitchen was well stocked and they have every kind of coffee maker you can imagine. Steve, the owner, dropped off donuts one morning! We had a wonderful time.

Fantastic Stay in Wonder Lake!

Our group of 9 truly had the best weekend at Steve’s VRBO on Wonder Lake. The check-in/out was super smooth, the house was everything we could ask for, and Steve was incredibly accommodative as a host. We celebrated a birthday and engagement on the property and enjoyed time on Steve’s boat. All around A+ and can’t wait to return!

The house was very cozy. Lots of activity in the morning with all the species of birds around the lake. Enjoyed cups of coffee watching. Gathering with family, visiting, playing cards, games and site seeing was very nice and the space was great for everyone. We all enjoyed it.

Wonderful vacation at Wonder Lake.

Our little Easter getaway at The Cozy Lake House was a memorable one for our family. It was the first holiday we got to spend with my brother in over 5 years since joining the military. The check in process was incredibly easy and straight forward. The house was extremely clean and the view of the lake house was breathtaking! The property is very well kept and came with all the amenities that we needed and were able to enjoy being outside. All the rooms were comfortable and very well kept. You can tell that Steve and Emily put a lot of thought into this home so families can enjoy. They have fun games to play, and even a karaoke machine! Steve and Emily were so kind to even hide Easter eggs around the house for our little ones. Out of all the places I have stayed I have never had such a thoughtful hosts. Our youngest forgot his tablet and Steve was kind enough to ship it back to us immediately! I highly recommend anyone to stay at The Cozy Lake House! Thank you so much Steve and Emily for allowing our family to have a wonderful memories in your amazing home!

One of the best experiences and best hosts!

The place was amazing and hosts Steve and Emily were great. My significant other and I will make this our first choice anytime we are in town. The layout was perfect with plenty of space. And we loved waking up to the beautiful view over the lake. If you book your stay, you’ll be glad you did!
