great location, just needs some updating.for the price you pay ..its reasonable

Dirty rooms was just gross Small tv and hard beds feels like your sleeping on a box spring

Our room was dirty and outdated. Both sets of bedsheets had blood stains on them. There were no dishes or supplies in the kitchenette, just a roll of paper towels and one disposable coffee cup. Half the outlets didn’t work or were so worn out, our phone chargers just fell out of the socket. The TVs were very old and made a high pitch noise when turned on. That was just the room. The hotel itself is very run down from the outside. We arrived at night and there were no lights at the entrance. The inside lobby looks as if it has been updated this decade. However, the hallway to our sweet was dark and dingy. My kids were actually scared. I called weeks before our trip to confirm the water park areas were operating because of Covid-19. I was told the indoor pools were open and the outside area would be open by July 1st. When we stayed (mid July), the indoor pools were open (water looked dirty and splash features were not operating) but the outside looked like it had not been open in quite sometime. We had a National Lampoon’s Vacation moment when we were all suited and sunblocked, excited for a day in the lazy river and then shocked at what we saw. The water was green and had garbage and wildlife in the swimming pools. The outdoor grill was a ghost town. Chairs were thrown everywhere and in piles. There is a separate activity fee charged per person per day that I will be disputing. It was probably a really great resort in the 80s. Today, I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy.

I booked into the Polynesian for 3 days and had to cancel two of them. Cleanliness was not an issue, the room was clean, the staff (the few that I saw) was friendly but the beds were terrible. I would have asked for a refund of the single night if it were not for the fact that I had already checked in before recognizing the problem. Someone would have to have a pretty strong back and shoulders to have gotten a good nights sleep on both beds as you could feel the springs underneath your body. Plus they had not advertised that their water park was not open and still charged me a resort fee for a small wading pool and the arcade since these were their only activities?? My pre-teen and teenage grand daughters were very disappointed.

Very nice place to stay. Took 7 kids and they had a blast

I like the fact that pools are open until 11 pm and the kids like the slides

I had a nice newly remodeled room, close to the front desk. Pool area was clean, service was great!

The room was very nice with a full kitchen and plates & silverware. We really looked forward to playing in the waterpark, but the water temperature for the slides was really cold & we didn't use them as we hoped.

Property could use some updating and the beds were uncomfortable, but the staff was lovely.

Place was TERRIBLE room was not clean entrance 5 was left open all night UNSAFE pools were dirty we checked out a day early and went to other water park

Dirty, rundown, trashy, bugfilled, noisy, dated, ware of money

Needs to be up dated rooms. Water park was ok for our 4yr old and 6yr old.

Our room was not clean. Staff were not helpful or nice. Pool ~ was not like the photo. I have requested a refund and am waiting for that to be credited back to my account. Gina M Pankratz

Dear traveler, Thank you for the review and thanks for staying with us. We do have some exciting plans for the property which entails repairs and new paint scheme for the exterior of the building. We are also hoping to convert another section of the resort into condo units in the near future. Thanks again for the review. Best regards.
