Beautiful building with an upscale antique feeling. Rooms are nicely decorated but are tiny, the beds were lumpy and the shower is similar to a hospital one. The problem were the walls and believe me I’ve stayed in a lot of different places but these walls were so thin. Both days was woke up by a baby crying for an hour i have a 7 yr old so im pretty open minded about noise but wow it felt like the kid was crying in my room! And also have in mind they have events here, both nights we stayed there was a wedding and it seems they put us on the floor beneath the event. Nice staff though

Great location and staff! Easily walk to multiple attractions, restaurants and parks.

Great classic hotel. Beautiful ambience. The bed throw should be cleaned in room 836.

Loved everything, special thanks to Derrick at reception! We have stayed in this hotel before and will definitely come back.

Needs some updates, it’s an old hotel and it shows. The lobby area is pretty, but the hallways need some updating

Beautiful architecture. Beautiful hotel. Beds and pillows are crazy comfortable. The soap, shampoo, and conditioner are amazing. The history of the place is fascinating. Very fun. Highly recommend.

Such a great hotel experience. We stayed over the weekend and did some sightseeing. The hotel is picturesque and breathtaking. I will definitely be visiting again soon.

I only stayed an evening at Fort Garry. The hotel staff were very friendly. Ordered room service and that was timely and delicious. The room itself was onviously older but spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and bright. Couldn’t figure out if you could change the thermostat settings as I like it slightly colder to sleep, but the room itself was a comfortable temp. Just a note to travelers that you shouldn’t expect a new construction feel as though it appeared they remodeled, it definitely still had historic charm while keeping up with more recent creature comforts and technology.

After spending a night in a hotel that really affected our allergies, we moved to this beautiful, classic, and very upscale hotel. It was worth staying there. There were robes for people to wear in the closet, you could order coffee from room service and it was delivered at your door. The bed was extremely comfortable and there was a hot tub as well. Furthermore, it was walking distance to the Winnipeg Art Gallery, where we saw the Picasso exhibit, and to the Human Rights Museum, which is outstanding!

Loved our king room with two bathrooms and a sitting room.
