Conveniently located in the heart of historic Downtown Wilmington, this intimate fourth-floor 1BR condo features tremendous balcony views of the Cape Fear River, Memorial Bridge, and the Battleship North Carolina! Enjoy convenient elevator access in a secured lobby. Take a leisurely stroll to downtown shops, pubs, coffeehouses, and restaurants.

Visit nearby beaches and islands, and enjoy a variety of outdoor options -- including hiking, biking, swimming, kayaking, and boating!

Please note that Wilmington is undergoing improvements and street construction is happening in front of the building. (The street is currently closed.)

This is the perfect location for downtown Wilmington. We were there for the IM 70.3, and the balcony overlooked the finish line area. It was just a few blocks to the convention center, IM village and store. We ate at several local restaurants and walked along the riverfront area several times. There were quite a few shops nearby, and a DG in the building next door (very handy). The battleship North Carolina is directly across the river. Wrightsville Beach was about a 20-minute drive, and we spent a few hours there (parking at the beach was $$).

Perfect location

An absolutely wonderful location for enjoying everything historic Wilmington has to offer. Walking distance for so many restaurants, shops, and attractions. Parking one block away but easy to access to get in and out by car as needed. When loading or unloading there was space in the actual building lot to do so. Tag containing electronic access to parking garage was available in apartment when unloading. Only slight downside was the noise of River Street on weekends for those sleeping on the pullout couch in the living room. We did not hear any of that from the bedroom. But then again, being right on the river where all the fun is happening is why you would stay here!

Property was just as advertised! Clean, well supplied, beautiful view of the USS N Carolina Battleship. Walking distance to everything you could want to see. 4 days-not enough time to see it all. Good neighborhood, elevator for unloading/loading stuff. Parking pass supplied, only thing that would make it better would be on site parking. Parking garage was a block away but that was not really a problem--more of an inconvenience is all. Totally would go back again and recommend to anyone who would want to see the sights of downtown/historic Wilmington.

Unit was roomy but parking was 2 blocks away. Very inconvenient car access. Unit needs better cleaning. Floor made our feet black. Floor needs to be scrubbed with soap and water. Peeling paint in shower was reported months ago and not repaired yet. No oven in the kitchen should be noted in the listing.

Great location, easy to access. The condo was very clean, except for one item. Communicated the deficiency with Vacasa, but no effort was made to correct, owner did not contact us. I still rated it mostly with 5 stars and we had a great time there.

Comfortable Condo

We did enjoy our stay and we love Wilmington. The Condo was clean in the sense of the cleaning ladies did a great job but there has been some water damage or something that has stains in the bathroom walls and paint peeling. The location is great and very walkable to everything but a few unsavory characters hanging around. The police cleared them out quickly and we were not approached by them. Last night was a bit noisy but thank goodness the people upstairs quieted down the yelling and guitar playing by 9. All in all I would stay in that area again.

Downtown Wilmington-Water street Condo

As we drove into downtown Wilmington we fell in love with the beautiful area and how clean it was! We were thrilled with our accommodations at the Water Street Condos!! This place was cozy, clean, comfortable and a great view of the river and river walk!! Great walking distance to excellent restaurants and the people we met were very friendly!! The beaches were also a plus and not a far drive!! Definitely coming back!

Room for improvement

We arrived at the location at 4:15p, catching the lady and her daughter who was responsible for the cleaning. She informed us that the previous guests had a huge party and trashed the place. We were unable to check in until 7p as the cleaners were finishing up. We later learned that the previous “guests” were actually long time tenants and obviously poor house keepers. The place was covered with copious amounts of dust and grime in the kitchen especially. The towels smelled of smoke and we were forced to go buy our own. The cleaner was nice but unqualified for the task. The condo has breathtaking views and convenience is remarkable. The directions for parking are horrific! It took to long to find the actual parking garage that accompanies the rental. Directions could be as easy as North on Water St. one block to Grace St. Turn right onto Grace and the parking garage is directly on the right. The directions tgat were provided by the renter are not accurate and lead to confusion.
