Delightful rural B & B with marine outlook.

Taking a short break in Mayo, following a wedding. Wonderful peaceful location, superb Irish breakfast. Friendly, charming, helpful and informative host. Wifi available, but no TV in room which didn't worry us in the slightest - just encouraged us to switch off. Easy reach of Westport and Newport, but extensive roadworks and contraflow on the road into Westport were a minor inconvenience. Finding a table at a restaurant for dinner locally can be challenging notwithstanding plethora of choice, but may be Covid related (more people taking short breaks/staffing issues?). Notwithstanding chldren returning to school still very busy.

Hidden Gem

We stayed at Seapoint House recently for two nights and would highly recommend it. It's a beautiful quiet location but still within easy reach of Westport and Newport. Our host Carol was very welcoming and helpful and nothing was too much bother for her. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic with a wide range of choices of fresh food. We will definitely be back again.
