What I did not like--WestJet cancelled my original flight on Sunday, with not one ounce of compensation or good will. Very disappointing. Cost me $200 to wait around till today, plus my time. Was told it was weather in Boston, but there was no weather issue in Boston. I think it was related to issues in Toronto, but why didn't they tell me the truth? First, and likely last time on WestJet.

Des Moines airport needs a better cleaning regimen - facility was filthy in the terminals - plugged sink ( there was only one with about 2 inches of stagnant water in it - gross ) didn’t look like the floors had been cleaned throughout in a while either. Flight was short but adequate. Check in staff at Delta was very friendly though.

Agents at the check in were extremely nice. That might have been more the Canadian kindness.

The short flights (mpls - ywg) had only snacks, of course, but the dry crisp cookies made by Biscoff were very tasty. :) and the genuine smiles on every employee make it all the more enjoyable.
