A charming riverfront 1-bedroom+ loft (both queen beds) 1 bathroom vacation rental, this cozy, pet-friendly cabin delivers a break from routine and invites you to unwind and reconnect with nature. Should you decide to venture beyond the peaceful confines of the cabin, downtown West Jefferson offers a delightful escape with local BBQ, brews, and boutiques.

Sasquatch Cabin is perfect for a small family retreat or a romantic couples getaway on the banks of South Fork New River. This quaint cabin provides all the essentials for a vacation filled with rest and recreation! Sasquatch Cabin has 1 bedroom with a loft, each with queen beds and can accommodate 4 guests. The kitchen is well-equipped with Keurig and drip coffee makers, flatware, and toaster. Indoors, there are smart tv`s, an electric fireplace, and reliable wifi for those needing to work from home. Outside, enjoy beautiful scenic river and mountain views, and relax by the fire pit or rent a kayak or canoe for a leisurely float down the river! Everything you need for a relaxing stay is provided, including linens, towels, toiletries, and cleaning supplies.

***Although this property has wonderful river views, the river is not easily accessed on site due to the steep bank. We recommend using the public access, approximately 1/4 mile away by the bridge.

Everything was great except for a leaking air conditioner that had a constant drip noise the entire time. Luckily the weather was cool so it didn’t need to be turned on too much. Very peaceful and extremely quiet which we loved. Will definitely be back.

34th Anniversary

Great place for a week of relaxation. Could have fished in the beautiful river but chose not to. Could have built a fire in the cool fire pit but chose not to. Could have done many things but chose to do very little. Extremely clean and cabin was just as advertised. I did not see Sasquatch but I’m sure I heard him.

Perfect mountain getaway

Our time at the cabin was great. The location is great, super clean, and all the amenities. We enjoyed sitting out on the front porch and letting our dogs play in the river. I would suggest maybe some stairs or a ladder down to the water. We borrowed the neighbors access. Overall great trip though.

Sasquatch cabin

Very nice property. Clean & modern! Provided lots of beautiful scenery & nature with all the modern conveniences! Loved morning coffee on the porch overlooking the New River. Felt at home immediately & didn’t want our visit to end. Sadly we never spotted a Sasquatch. Maybe next time.
