We had a sibling/spouse reunion with plenty of private specious rooms, with large kitchen and dining area for meals and games.

This is the second time our family has stayed at Crown Jewel . The house is beautiful, and the view is amazing. A few suggestions are: a couple of chairs in the master bedroom would be helpful, the kitchen equipment should be reviewed , ie no kitchen sheers, not enough teaspoons for 11 people, toaster only works on one side. Also a light weight vac for upstairs, would help the occupants to keep it clean. Otherwise , it is a lovely, family friendly vacation home.home.

Communication was easy and all info we needed was put forth early and in good form. Missy, with Carolina Mountain Vacation Rentals, the house's mgmnt company was very helpful, informative and accessible. Don't hesitate to rent this beauty or others that CMRV has in their portfolio.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a beautiful home but had some issues. We encountered a broken window the agency said they would fix and the main sliding door had a 2 by 4 nailed in with towels stuffed in to unsuccessfully stock cold air. But the worse was the kitchen, the house has 6 bedrooms and sleeps more people than they had coffee cups, glasses, or matching plates. For a house this high end, the kitchen was not stocked well at all.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a beautiful home. We enjoyed our stay but have suggestions to make it better for guests. The kitchen pans are incomplete, I.e., no cookie sheet nor Dutch oven. It could also use a large non-stick skillet. There was a mouse in the house, which was quite unsettling for some of the guests. There was not enough paper towels, Kleenex, nor toilet tissue for our three night stay. The kitchen was poorly stocked, not even salt, pepper or sugar packs. We have stayed in much better stocked Air BnBs, so will not be renting from this rental company in the future. Definitely needs improvement!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is beautiful and the location is amazing! As a rental property owner in another state, I wanted to provide some feedback. The house was very clean. It seems that the house is not used much and would benefit from a couple of changes: nightstands in one of the lower level rooms; a fire pit or some outdoor entertainment; the porches cleaned and furniture set up; k cups for the keurig. Also, since the house is advertised as "luxury", bottled hand soap in each bathroom would make it feel more "luxurious" as well as a hair dryer in each of the main bathrooms. Also, adding aluminum foil, ziploc bags and discarding expired items in the kitchen (I threw away packets of coffee that expired in 2011). I believe with those small changes, the house would be more accommodating for visitors and feel more "homey".
