Whether you're looking for a quiet romantic weekend, or a week-long family vacation, you'll enjoy the comfort and modern amenities of this log home. There are wonderful mountain views to enjoy from the rocking chairs on the oversized porch or the bubbling hot tub. Inside, in air-conditioned comfort, the main level offers a large great room with plush furniture, a cozy gas fireplace, 42 Plasma HDTV with premium satellite channels including Starz and movie channels, a dining and kitchen area with lots of windows for enjoying those wonderful mountain views, along with a nice-sized bedroom with king bed and hall bath. Hardwood floors lead up to the loft area, nicely furnished as a sitting/sleeping area and shelves stocked with many bestseller books. The huge master bedroom provides a comfy king bed, satellite TV & its own private bath and walk-in closet. Have additional guests or children? The downstairs area provides another bedroom with two sets of bunks and a daybed that makes two twins, along with a third full bath. Tired of eating out? Throw a steak on the charcoal grill and enjoy the evening nestling by the fire or rocking on the porch! Now that's relaxing. Or, if you prefer, make a quick trip into West Jefferson, and eat out at one of our fine restaurants, shop the downtown area with its quaint shops and art galleries, or spend about 25 minutes driving into Boone, Blowing Rock, or to the ski slopes. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, and a fenced area with Dog Run is provided. Sorry, no cats. Towels & Linens are provided along with a washer/dryer. Wireless DSL access and fax machine is now available, as well as Pool table, Pub table and chairs, and 2 additional TV's (total of 4) have just been added to increase your enjoyment of this cabin.
